XYO Coin Update - Can It 50X? (AI Connection)

The host has held XYO for four years through an 73% drop this year and still owns it. XYO launched a new layer-1 token XL1 and is pivoting toward AI and decentralized physical infrastructure, with the Coin App's geo-mining model generating over $10 million in rewards to millions of users.

All right, what is up? Welcome back to the channel. Today we are talking about do I still hold and believe in XYO. Now, XYO is a token that's been in my portfolio for over 4 years now. We're going to talk about do I still hold it, what the heck is going on with it, is it going to go up, um, and do I still believe in it. So drop a like, Um, especially drop a like if you are a holder of XYO. Uh, the first thing we have to talk about here is my original video on XYO. I was talking about XYO before this video, uh, but this was done on May 20, 2021. Okay, May 20, 2021, that is right about here on the chart. Um, and if you can see that, we got in below 1 cent. Okay, we are talking about 0.003, uh, 8 is where we got in. This thing proceeded to go to 8 cents. Yes, 8 cents. We took a coin, we called a coin a gem. Before it went to 8 cents. Sometimes I have to get on here and remind you why I have this many subscribers. Why do we have this many subscribers? It's because people have made hundreds of thousands. Uh, we calculated it to be over $3 million, uh, just over a few years of collective profits from our members of the Gold Squad Discord. Link is in the description if you want to join. $3 million, over $3 million. It's not even calculatable, um, but we took all of the screenshots of profits that we have and we combined them and it's over $3 million. So just a reminder of what this token once did. It went all the way up to $800 million, almost a billion market cap, and we got in at around— what was the market cap when we got in? $30 mil, $30 mil up to $800 million. That is insane. We then had another run in 2024 up to $450 million, um, and now we have crashed back down. It's been a horrible year. If we go here, you can see we are down 73% on price, uh, from the start of the year. In the last 3 months, 14.6%. So it's been pretty bad. Now, to answer the first question, which is, do I still hold XYO? The answer is yes. But you're going to want to stick around, uh, in this video because we're going to show you everything that they're doing and why I still do believe in them, um, and why this is a potential gem sitting once again below 1 cent. Uh, it was proven to us that this thing could absolutely rip up, uh, to over 1 cent. Um, and can it do that again? If we look at, you know, some of the stats, every token is in circulation. Uh, every token currently is in circulation here, 13.9 billion right there. So let's keep it moving here. Let's look into what they're recently doing. So they actually launched, um, a new layer 1 token, XL1. You guys know I am never a fan of a blockchain launching— of a successful blockchain project, crypto project launching another token. I will never be a fan of that. Um, however, they launched XL1, um, and XL1 is their layer 1 token. So they've got, you know, a few exchange listings only— Kraken, KuCoin, Gate.io, Uniswap, um, and it has just went straight down from its inception on September 15th, right? Started at, you know, you can't even tell what it started at. It was like way under 1 cent. Um, this, this one does have a max supply of 48 billion, um, and that's why I have begun officially to also accumulate this token because It seems like XYO doesn't have a max supply over here. Um, the max supply says infinity right there, which is not good for scarcity, but they're doing something very different with XYO. Um, this one has 48 billion, so I'm going to start accumulating this, or I have started. I made my initial purchase. Uh, but we're on Gate.io. Uh, Uniswap, if we sort by 24-hour volume The best place to get it is MEXC and Gate. There's not that much volume at all, so be prepared to, you know, pay a decent spread, decent fee for it if you're trying to get in. And you can't buy that much because there's not that much volume. This is why you do not launch a second token. So I am not a supporter of that move, but I hope that they can pull through and make that a good move. Now they are leaning into the AI wave. Now XYO is an underrated AI project, okay, underrated AI token. Now if you need a deep dive, by the way, on what this is, we're not going to really go over like what it is again, uh, because we went over this, what XYO actually is, which it's a DePIN project, decentralized physical infrastructure. So So linking the real world and things that happened in the real world, they're linking it with the blockchain and the digital world. So go check the deep dive if you want to know what this is. But they're leaning into AI and robotics. So they're saying as machines do more real world work, they're going to need, or who's going to benefit off of that, okay? If machines are doing more of the work over time, someone is going to capture that value. Right now it's the large tech shareholders, but DePI introduces the idea of universal basic ownership, where people hold pieces of the systems generating machine-driven income instead of waiting for a fixed payout. For crypto enthusiasts, this fits naturally with how wallets and networks already work. Your wallet is not just storing assets, it can represent a stake in AI-powered productivity itself. So definitely they are leeching on to the AI wave, but the reality is they've been positioned, um, as a really secretive, hidden, uh, AI project, in my opinion. The reason for this, um, is what Marcus, the co-founder, says. He says If AI becomes the brain of the digital economy, which that's obvious it's going to be, DPIN, so decentralized physical infrastructure networks, uh, for example, this is like, let's say that there was some kind of app that paid you every time you opened your fridge. For example, your fridge is a DPIN hardware device. Hardware meaning it's an actual like this remote, right? It's a, it's a thing you can touch, a piece of technology you can touch. Every time you open that fridge, it is sending a blockchain, uh, it's sending a transaction to the blockchain and logging that. Um, and then you can have like people own that fridge and reap rewards off of every time it's used. That's a bad example, but this is basically what they're doing. They're connecting You know, every action that's taken on a piece of smart hardware can be linked to transactions on the DePIN network and the XYO network. So DePIN is the nervous system transmitting, sensing, verifying real-world data, and the two evolve together. So DePIN anchors AI in reality. Okay, he says this new wave isn't driven by hype but by rebuilding the physical infrastructure for a decentralized future. As AI grows and centralized systems strain, DePIN offers a more resilient and inclusive model. Now, there's no guarantee that DePIN specifically is what's going to be, first of all, the name of this wave, um, and second of all, the projects that actually get used. Okay, so, you know, they have pivoted their messaging a little bit and made it more concise. They're saying XYO Layer 1, the first scalable blockchain built for data. Okay, built for data. Now we're going to play this clip of Marcus Levin, um, who's the co-founder, as we said. He's going to explain um, why, uh, why XYO and XL1 are great. Okay, uh, because— and this is really good. Here we go, turn my volume up. Let's go. Obviously blockchain technology has existed for years, but you felt compelled to create a new blockchain specifically fit for this purpose.
What was wrong with the previous blockchains, and what have you improved on that makes this usable into the future, especially in context of how large AI is going to grow? Yeah, as you probably know, like all the blockchains I'm aware of at least, they're there to transact value within its chain. So like, you know, send one ETH from one person to the next, for example, right? And they're not so much built for data. If you try to store an image on Ethereum or even Solana, right, it's going to cost you hundreds of thousands in gas fees. And, and so it's, it's forbidding. It's not made for data. And so you build a blockchain from scratch which is made for data.
So right there you see him saying and pointing out that all of these other crypto networks are built for payments and transactions, not data. Okay, that's why they're positioned differently. Is they're positioned to be built for data, which is going to be the, the main conversation, right, with AI scaling up and all of that. So Messari, great crypto research firm, says DePIN is now a $10 billion sector, and they have— excuse me— 70— $72 million in on-chain revenue. Excuse me, even after the token drawdowns. Okay, Marcus Levin, the XYO co-founder, um, knows and believes that revenue is more important. Success shows up first in usage and cash flow, not in speculative price action. Um, the networks that will capitalize the most are the ones that can deliver to enterprise and, and AI-driven demand sectors reliably. They are still focused. So to answer the question here, they're still focused. They pivoted in the correct way to AI. Uh, they were prepped from the beginning for AI. Um, and they have revenue, on-chain revenue. They don't have $72 million themselves, but they do have a lot of revenue sources. You guys may remember the Coin app. Now apparently, according to some people, this has become, um, an ad farming game. So not very fun or good or, you know, amazing to use. They've kept their ratings up pretty well, but this is powered by XYO, and this is literally, I mean, 10,000 ratings on the Apple App Store. Over $10 million in rewards paid out. Like, this is a huge app, um, and you know, everyone sleeps on XYO. I noticed they added the XYO logo to the actual app logo, um, but wow, like, this is geo-mining, geo-dropping, gamifying everyday activities, um, and these people that are on the Coin App, uh, they actually are the ones running the nodes. Like, it's— they have 10 million different users, over like millions of users, right? Millions of downloads. Featured in Forbes, um, best mobile app of 2023. Uh, I made about $125 using the Coin App and now it's worth $1,000. Um, if I do have a ref— I think you need like— I don't know what you need for this, but if I have a referral link in the description, check. I will put the app link in the description. Apparently, um, I'm on Reddit a little bit, uh, like looking at what the community is saying, and a lot of these people are calling it just an ad farming game, right? Just an ad farming, like, you know, money grab basically. But a lot of people too are saying, you know, I— an ad farming game that makes me 10 extra bucks and gives me a reason to drive down the road in a golf cart and get a nice feeling right? So he's already made over what he spent and back, um, you know, and there's some issues with it. Like, they're in a crazy position having that many downloads and that many people using it. So that, that's a crazy moat that they have. Not, not many, um, direct blockchains have an app that's doing that well, um, But yeah, they launched the new layer 1. They have the on-chain revenue. They have revenue in general. Uh, that's the main issue with all of these crypto tokens is that they, uh, they don't have revenue, okay? They make money by dumping the freaking tokens on your head, okay? That's how they make money, unfortunately. Um, and 100— was this the announcement right here? Yeah, so 155 days ago, you can see where they launched their layer 1 we did rip a little bit from that and then it was just downhill. Um, yeah, I'm not a big fan of launching two tokens for any purpose. Now, what happened to the security token part? Okay, I'm looking at Security Token Market, I click on their freaking domain, their website, and it leads me to GoDaddy, which means, you know, they're not even— their site is not even up. So the security token market is just done for, and Hedera has the second-ranking article on Google, which is really smart of them to have that article out here. Uh, you know, there's the second ranking, but STM, the, the platform I used to watch all these awesome charts on, is gone. It looks like tZERO is still around, which is great. Um, the reason I bring this up is because XYO was one of the very first companies to tokenize their XY Labs share, uh, shares. So Ripple Labs, right, it's the similar thing. Ripple Labs is not XRP. XY Labs is not XYO. It's a similar model that's going on. Um, and what you'll realize with these crypto tokens sometimes is that Someone did something, someone launched a token, and then a smarter person looked at what they did, fixed all the mistakes that they could see, and then launched their token. That's kind of what XYO did, right? So there's a lot of copycat going on, um, but it's like iteration. They're iterating on each other, uh, making the most refined version of the last blockchain or the last cash grab that happened. Okay, um, so tZERO still does offer apparently the XY Labs shares. So if you guys want to follow this information on xylabs.com, um, under the Investors tab and how to buy, you can actually get equity in XY Labs if you want, which is pretty sick. Um, and you know, that like STM, I feel so weird about this. They're just gone. That used to be like, they were positioned and are still positioned, I guess, to be the CoinMarketCap of security tokens, but it seems like they're just gone. Uh, they posted 6 months ago here on their YouTube, but is the security token wave done? Do we all just disappear during a bear market? I know I don't disappear during a bear market. I'm here. I actually came back for the bear market. Um, and you know, I was never gone. Let's make that clear. I was never gone. Uh, the YouTube uploading frequency went down a little bit because I'm trying to actually have a life. Um, you know, there's a reason only select individuals are able to do this YouTube stuff because it takes a lot of work. Um, yeah, so that's the update on XYO. Yes, I still believe in them. Uh, I think Marcus Levin is a genius. I think the XYO project is awesome. It's underrated. It's one of the X tokens, so someone is conscious of the ISO standard that dictates country currency codes, like CAD is Canadian, USD is USA, right? So X, if you put an X in front of your token, that means it's borderless, like it's not owned by a country. It's an X token. So the X— excuse me, the X token thing is real. Now disclaimer, we are dealing with an asset that has a market cap of $58 million. We are dealing with an asset that isn't available on many— well, nowadays it's available on a lot of, a lot of exchanges. But we're dealing with an asset that doesn't have that much crazy volume going on, right? So not established, not, not hugely established. Um, but the disclaimer here is that crypto is risky. You could lose all your money. In my opinion, I don't know how far this thing could even go down. It could just go back to these terrible prices here. Um, but at that point, I mean, dude, I'm putting thousands of dollars in because, well, that I can— that I can afford to lose. Let's make that clear. Like, I'm not putting a gazillion dollars into this. I would put what I can afford to lose. I'll treat it like a casino, but we're dealing with the rigged casino. Uh, this is not a casino, but we call it that. To set low expectations so that if you lose your money, you realize, hey, you were gambling on cryptocurrencies. Okay, so that's all we've got for today. Uh, ultimately, XYO, great play in my opinion, uh, non-financial advice opinion. And the fact that they're primed for data, like data, bro, like a chain that's built for data specifically. Everyone else is so obsessed with transacting and, you know, sending value. So the internet of value. But what about the data side of this, um, and the integration with AI? So I appreciate you all if you made it to the end of this video. Links are in the description. We've got the Gold Squad, that's our main membership for crypto, inner circle Discord. We also just launched, and you You know, I'm only talking to a few of you who made it to the end. Comment XYO. XYO is great if you made it this far. But I'm only talking to a few of you, and you guys are the most committed ones. We just launched, Megan and I just built and launched our AI community. So this is AI education, and it's specifically for AI, okay? We're teaching everyday people to use AI in their lives, in their lives. And this was a very AI-focused video. And there will be more of these because I'm obsessed with AI. I think that this is the age of abundance. I am totally fine with letting a robot do everything for me. That would be sick because I just want to play basketball and enjoy time with my family and travel the world. So yeah, of course I'm letting a robot do my freaking laundry. I don't find purpose in doing dishes, bro. If you find purpose in doing dishes, you have reduced your life to a very small amount. Okay? And I know dishes have to be done. I do them all the time. I do housework all the time. But if a robot can do it for me, I'm letting that robot do it. Trust me, because I want to play basketball. I want to do some fun stuff. I want to do art. I want to make videos. I want to do the stuff I want to do. So that's what that community is about. It is called Startilio. Startilio. Okay, link is in the description. I love every single one of you and goodbye.
