Why typing will slowly fade away

I believe typing is going to be going away. I got into an argument that handwriting shouldn't be taught in schools with a school teacher. I was very polite. But I got into that argument at Columbia a couple years ago because kids aren't going to be handwriting for much longer. They're actually typing. I also don't think they should be taught trigonometry or calculus. I have no idea what trigonometry is. My daughter showed me this thing. I'm like, can we just ask Siri? Like, why do you actually really need to figure this out while our counterparts in Japan are being taught algorithms? But back to handwriting. I think handwriting should obviously be not taught in two to three years. I actually don't think typing should be taught anymore. Typing is going to be looked at as a thing of the past. People are going to be entering copy and words into a device by actually speaking into it. And there's a reason that Google and Amazon and Apple through Siri and Alexa and Microsoft through Cortana are investing in voice technology because it's going to be 99.99% accurate.
