Every PT thinks leads are a problem. Leads are not a problem. It's what you're doing with the leads that's the problem. If leads are a problem for you, I'd invite you to have a conversation with me. Yes, and leads are never a problem, okay? We've just gone through, I think, like 6 or 7 different strategies that you can use to generate leads in a commercial gym. You can give away 4 weeks of free PT, you can give away online coaching, you can give away 1 PT session. Giving stuff away for free is going to attract more people. What's going on everyone? Matt here from PT Profit Leverage and Lifestyle Show, episode 111. We're going to talk about leads in a commercial facility. So part of this episode is your gym already has your next 50 leads, you're just not looking for them. So I'm going to go through the 5 strategies that we use, um, for our clients and what I use as a face-to-face PT to get at least 50 leads every single month. In reality, leads are never a problem, okay? So we're gonna go through the 5 strategies, give And if leads are a problem for you, I'd invite you to have a conversation with me. Obviously watch this full episode, but, um, you know, you might be one strategy away from getting yourself fully booked as a personal trainer. So 5 strategies, we'll go through them in just a second, but let me go through why most PTs struggle. They rely on the gym for the leads. We're going to utilize the gym's database to get you different types of leads, plus do your own marketing. In the club as well. Okay, so number 1 is new members. You guys should be already contacting new members when they first join the gym to book in a free health assessment, is what we call it. You can call it a PT session, you can call it whatever you want, you can call it a consult, but every single new member should be booking in with you. As a little bonus, you can get the club manager to book them in into your calendar for you. Okay, that's a whole different strategy that we can talk about another time. So new members is the first one. Your gym should be getting at least 50 new signups a month anyway. Yes, you might have to split these between the other trainers, which is completely fine, completely fair and reasonable. And like, if you're in a goldmine location where you're the only trainer, then, you know, happy days for you, you get all the leads. So new members is the first one. The second one is 30-day reviews. 30-day reviews are for people who want to try it on their own, quote, try it on their own, before they look at investing in someone else. Perfect for the people that didn't want to do the consult when they first joined and they were super excited to get into it themselves. Now they've had 30 days as an opportunity to try it themselves, and you literally be like, hey, look, you've had the opportunity to try this for 30 days, and what are the results that you've got? Are you— have you got the results, or have you not got the results? And it's a lot. It's so easy to sell because they've— you've got the emotional mindset that they're in, or the emotional trigger of why they haven't got the results. But they've all— you've also got the logic behind it to be like, hey, you've had the opportunity to try this on your own and you still haven't got the results, so now is the time. So there are 30-day reviews. We're going to do 90-day reviews as well. So guess what happens to people when they're first joining the gym? Happens to me, happens to my wife, happens to heaps of people. A couple of months goes in and you're doing the same stuff, you get bored, or 15 Things come up and you haven't got the routine, so you just stop going to the gym. This becomes something that is not part of your subconscious routine. You just stop going. That's how the gyms make their money. People, they sign up in like 12-month contract, then they just stop going and they still got to pay for it for the 12 months. Perfect time to pounce as well. Okay, so you got new members, you got 30-day reviews, and you got 90-day reviews. These are all different types of reports you can get from the gym. Okay, next one is MIAs and birthdays. These ones are a little bit harder to convert. MIAs are for people who haven't been in the club for at least 30 days or 90 days. Now usually the gym does these calls because they're trying to get people back into the gym, okay? So you just want to take over these calls because they're already doing them anyway. I've had my own gym before, okay? You obviously want to get people coming back into the gym. Now these ones are a little bit harder because they're already in that mindset of not wanting to come into the gym, uh, or birthday, birthday ones, uh, it's complete cold call. They're not expecting it at all. And you might be calling people that are like bodybuilders or powerlifters that they, you know, they don't necessarily need help from a personal trainer per se. So it's a little bit harder to convert those ones. But nevertheless, you're getting your name out there. At a worst-case scenario, if you do birthday leads every single month, you're going to connect with, or you're going to meet, every single person in the gym in a 12-month period., and that significantly increases the likelihood of you being able to get yourself fully booked as a PT in that gym. Okay, so now we've got new members, we've got 30-day reviews, we've got 90-day reviews, we've got MIAs, which you can do 30 days or 90 days, and then you've also got birthday leads, which will get a new list every single month. A lot of the time gyms are happy to give you these lists. Okay, if they're not, have a conversation with me and I'll show you how to, how to do that. And the last one is giveaways and seminars. This is your own marketing that you can do. So seminars or workshops specifically targeted towards your ideal client. A fat loss workshop, powerlifting workshop, you know, whatever it is. If you want to attract your ideal client, run a workshop, and there's people that are interested in that thing that's going to come to the workshop, and then you can obviously upgrade them to, to PT from there. The other one is giveaways. You can give away 4 weeks of free PT, you can give away online coaching, you can give away 1 PT session. Giving stuff away for free is going to attract more people. Okay, so what you could do is you literally have a sign-on sheet at the front of the, front of the gym, and you can say, hey, look, you can win 4 weeks of free personal training. You can walk around the gym and say, hey, look, we've got a free giveaway, you can win 4 weeks of free PT, should I put your name down? You've got nothing to lose. Just that strategy alone, if you do that every couple of months, that should generate at least 100 leads for you every couple of months. Okay, so leads are never a problem. Okay, we've just gone through, I think, like 6 or 7 different strategies that you can use to generate leads in a commercial gym. Okay, Okay, so leads are never a problem. Okay, so it's super, super simple. Now if you want our marketing blueprint that we use to get our clients 50 leads every single month without fail— now this is not including social media, by the way. Social media is on top. The leads are never a problem. Okay, every PC thinks leads are a problem. Leads are not a problem. It's what you're doing with the leads that's the problem. Now let me also give you some context as well. When we say we get our clients 50 leads every single month, that turns into 5 new clients. Every single month, which is on average about $100 a week, an extra $500 a week each month. Okay, that is the power. So if you're on the fence about possibly getting some help, if you're wanting help with lead generation, or if you don't know how to convert these leads, it's literally costing you $500 a week. That's about $2,000 to $2,500 a month. It's costing you $2,500 a month to stay in the same spot. $2,500 a month is about $60,000, $70,000 a year. It's costing you $70,000 a year every year that you, that you don't get the help required. Okay, so what I want you to do, I want you to send me a message right now on Instagram, and I want you to message me, uh, the word blueprint, and I'll send you through our marketing blueprint to generate you 50 leads every single month. And then I'll see if I can help you get back on track. But in summary, guys, use the gym's database to market your services, okay? Most gyms are happy to give you a couple of those things, if not all of them. If you're struggling to get the gym to kind of cooperate with you then let me know and I'll, I'll share with you how you can get the, the manager and the owner on your side. Because at the end of the day, the gym wants people to work with PTs because they stay with the gym longer. I'll leave it there for that episode, and I'll see you next week.
