AI is speeding up every stage of hacking: finding vulnerabilities in software and systems, writing exploits to use them, and launching coordinated attacks. The cost drops while the threat expands beyond just technical flaws to human and process weaknesses.

AI tools and vulnerability exploitation. And normally when we talk about this, we're talking about technical vulnerabilities. Think software, firmware, operating system, hardware, things of that sort. There actually is human vulnerabilities that this applies to too. It also covers process vulnerabilities. In general, we are seeing an increase because they're able to use these specialized AI tools to be able to inspect and test and tear apart and try and break software, firmware, hardware, all these other pieces of technology very rapidly at very low cost and then discover technical vulnerabilities that can be exploited. And that's the first phase. First, you find the vulnerability. The next step is you then need to build or create an exploit to take advantage of that vulnerability. And AI tools are doing that as well. Third phase is the orchestration of that attack against specific targets or ranges of targets.
