The NSA identified 25 vulnerabilities actively exploited by Chinese-backed hackers to steal data and access internal systems. The attacks use three methods: network data theft, direct server attacks, and remote system access. Organizations should patch these CVEs immediately and keep all software updated.

The NSA knows something that you don't. The US National Security Agency knows which vulnerabilities that Chinese-backed hackers are using the most to compromise data. In fact, they've been looking at this for many years, and the Chinese infrastructure to siphon up data is massive. It is truly impressive, and it will capture data from all sorts of nations, all sorts of companies, anything that isn't nailed down. And these state-sponsored hackers will go that extra mile and compromise systems to get their hands on data. So the NSA has come up and decided to realize and reveal the top 25 vulnerabilities that are currently being exploited, and they want everybody to close those gaps. So there's a list out there, you definitely need to take a look at it. When you look at the different vulnerabilities, they're kind of broken up into different groups. Many of them are looking at compromising data across the networks. Some of them are specifically targeting servers and databases, and others are looking to remotely access protected systems inside networks, uh, and it helps them launch future attacks. But it's all about the data, the pursuit of data, and the NSA strongly recommends all these CVEs get immediately patched. I wholeheartedly agree. In fact, while you're looking at these, take a look at all the other critical, high, and medium CVEs that are still in your environment, patch those too. And make sure your operating systems, your applications, and even your anti-malware engines and signatures are updated if you use those, right? Make it a patching party, but make sure you get those closed because they are actively being compromised. Right now. So I'll include the list of the NSA CVEs, uh, list to their link to their paper. And if you like this update, click on the like button and follow if you would like to get future insights.
