Hey guys, thanks for tuning in to Matt Young Live. Hey guys, thanks for tuning in to Matt Young Live. Of course, I'm Matt Young. Thank you for stopping into the new YouTube channel, and today's video is really just going to cover, you know, who I really am and what's my journey been like getting to this point. You know, graduating high school at 16 years old was a pretty young adventure. I started school when I was a little bit younger than normal, and of course I finished a little bit younger than normal. And when I was coming out of high school, I did dabble in the college area, but I was already by that time working as a professional wrestler. That's right. You know, you see me now and you think, how would this guy attain professional wrestler status? And as we go deeper into this video, It might surprise you a little bit. You see, at 16, I had already started my journey on professional wrestling, and I was building towards becoming the ultimate professional wrestler, I guess you could say. By the time I was 17, I'd found myself under the wing of WWE Hall of Famer, 2-time Hall of Famer, Booker T. And so what I really noticed at a very young age is that whatever my mind really could conceive and believe, I absolutely could achieve. And so training under Booker T was absolutely phenomenal because it showed me so many different things about wrestling and life that I didn't really know. You know, growing up with my family being in the car business and my dad working 60+ hours a week, I knew that it took a lot of hard work to get out of life whatever you wanted, and I knew that there was no way around that hard work. And by the time I was probably, you know, 9 or 10 years old, my dad took me for our first wrestling live event at WWE or WWF back in the day. And I remember sitting front row, I think it was our first event, and watching these superstars come down and being so infatuated And it was then at 8 years old that I decided that's what I was going to do. And there's a lot of people nowadays that say, well, Matt, how could you say that at 8 years old you knew what you were going to do by the time you were 16, 17, 18, as you'll find out later into my early 20s? And that's because when we are born, our subconscious is wide open. It's basically like a cup. In our environment, everything that we're surrounded by is doing nothing but filling up our cup. And see, what I found later is that the cup was already full. The environment was just top dressing the cup. It made me more of who I already was. Madame Montessori put it best when she said, "We teach a child like it's a cup, or like he or she is a cup, and we want to fill them up with knowledge." That's not the case. Truth is, cup's already full. We just got to teach them how to bring it out from within. And so going into my early 20s, I found myself already working with WWE. At 21, I decided to depart from the wrestling business. That's a story for another video. However, it is definitely one that needs to be hit. So when I left working with Booker T and working with WWE, I decided that I was going to follow my brother and my dad's footsteps, and I was going to get into the car business. And lo and behold, within 2 years, I generated close to $1 million. That's right. By the age of 23, I generated almost $1 million. I I bought a $250,000 house with the pool and the hot tub, and me and my fiancée were trying to have a kid. Sadly enough, by the time that I was 25, I was almost bankrupt. The house was in foreclosure. We had lost all the cars, and we were now living in a single-wide trailer. Nothing against the demographic of living in a trailer, but when I say living in a trailer, I truly mean No source of heat, no air conditioning. You know, this trailer was built with a furnace. A lot of my furniture that I had on lease that I was paying for, or was paying for when I had the money, was now the furniture I was breaking up to keep us warm during the winter. It was probably 2015, July. that I had realized I was really at rock bottom. And I'd always known the Lord. And it's one thing you don't hear a lot of YouTube people talk about these days. They'll say God, but they don't say Jesus. And that's one thing here at Matt Young Live that I'm gonna emphasize on, is that he is most definitely real. And we were pulling out one afternoon And I'm going to save this story for another time, but we were in a terrible car accident and almost lost my fiancée's life and my 8-month-old son's life, including my own and her best friend. And it was then that I decided I knew what I was supposed to be doing in life. You see, I'd already hunkered down and started studying self-development And trying to figure out how I did everything that I did at such a young age and trying to figure out the keys to success. Like you see everybody release these ads saying, if you click our page and you pay just a little bit of money, we'll get you there. And that's not what we're doing here. Here, I want to go in depth with you because in order to get the best out of life that you truly deserve, you have to be the best that you can be. And truly and honestly, the steps are simple. They're like ABCDE. They're just not easy. I promise you, for those of you that tune in from starting at this video all the way to now where I do motivational speaking, I'm working personal development coaching one-on-one with groups, individuals, athletes that you even see on TV today. I want to dive into these subjects with you because once I found out why I achieved what I achieved, everything's changed. Of course, I'm still on the build. I'm still making my way back up. But because I know what I did right and because I was able to study myself harder than I studied someone else, because I looked at what I wanted as opposed to what the media was feeding me and telling me that I needed. Because again, I had the money, I had the cars, and I had the house at a very young age, and I was miserable. I was a drug addict. And again, this is something that's in the making. The story is not complete. It doesn't stop here. It's only just begun. And I can't wait for you to tune in with us on our journey as we go from school to school, company to company, and household to household. To change everyone's life, not only in the Matt Young Live aspect, but in Jesus Christ's name. I look forward to bringing you more content. Thanks for stopping in. I promise you it's going to be worth it.
