We all have some normal biofilms in our body. When we've been sick a while, the bugs that can build bigger biofilms that are not normal and are not good for you will start to build and get thicker and thicker walls. You could say this little hive-like structure. What we've identified in the world of the not good biofilms, so the pathological ones, is there are smaller, thinner hives and bigger, thicker hives. And the sicker you've been, the longer you've been sick, the more biofilms build up.
