Oh, Megan, I hope you're not dealing with this. Maybe you are or someone you know or love. You're asking, can mold cause paranoid delusions for early onset dementia? And the sad answer is, yes, it absolutely can. Mold and Lyme are often implicated as a root cause in dementia and Alzheimer's and Parkinson's and any of these neurological problems. And mold can absolutely play a part. We've got all kind. The trichothecine, mycotoxins can be extremely detrimental to the neurological system, increase inflammation in the brain, and it can start with, you know, brain fog and forgetfulness and all these things, but it can progress. It can progress very far and create extreme issues like you mentioned there. Now, I would also rule out Lyme disease because Lyme, especially Bartonella and Borrelia, like to get in the brain and create inflammation, demyelinate around nerves and create problems and neurological problems and dementia and Alzheimer's things too. So ruling out mold toxicity, ruling out Lyme disease and co infections are the two biggest things to do. There's a combo from Vibrant, who I use the lab because those two are tested so often because they're so commonly implicated in issues like that that we need to not just test one because they're so similar and have very similar symptoms that we test both at the same time. Because if it's not one, it might be the other. If you just rule one out and not check the other, you just set yourself up for a lot of pain and not knowing what's going on, therefore you can't treat it. So I'll put a link to that lab combo there, but that's definitely, it's definitely possible with mold and definitely possible with Lyme. Run the labs, see what it is and then come up with a protocol from there. Hope that helps.
