Short YouTube response by Matt Kelly addressing whether mold could cause facial tics in a child. Kelly states mold toxicity is frequently implicated in PANS/PANDAS via gut damage and autoimmunity, recommends ruling out mold and Lyme/bartonella together with laboratory testing, and suggests interventions including removing exposure, supporting liver/bile/lymphatic function, use of binders and antifungals, and improving bowel function. A second speaker briefly promotes consultations with Kelly.

All right, Carrie Lynn, I think I did a video on this, but I have to look at my notes. I find it. I'll put the number in the comment section here so that you can search for that one to look it up. So Carrie Lynn says my son seems to have acquired facial ticks, and someone told me to look into pants pandas. Her post is on my feed. And I've always wondered if some other issues have to do with possible mold in the home. So, yes, I've done videos, talked about this online and other groups and lives for other companies. Mold toxicity is very often implicated with pans and pandas. The reason is it leads to so much gut damage and autoimmunity. And what I see with kids, if the autoimmunity goes to the brain, they end up with pans or pandas. If it goes to the gut, they end up with Crohn's. If they don't end up with an autoimmune condition in one of these places, they just get sick in all the same places adults do. Okay. So, yes, I would. It's you 100% have to rule out mold toxicity. Another big one is bartonella from Lyme. So with kids with parents that are suspecting and we're seeing pans or pandas like symptoms, we run the mold and Lyme labs together at the same time to see which one is there. I have yet to find a child that does not have one. Usually it's both, but very often mold is there. So I'll post the links to those labs and feel free to connect with me if you'd like a consultation. But the sooner you catch it, the better. Okay. Because with the quicker if it is mold, the quicker we can get your child out of that exposure to stop adding to that toxicity. The quicker we can get him pooping if he's. I'm just looking, son. Yes, quicker we can get him pooping. Better if he's not. Liver support, bile flow, lymphatic system, getting in, starting with some binders and getting that out, some antifungals at the right time and start lowering that load, you'll start to see those facial tics and symptoms start to go away. But yes, it's possible mold's not in play but is very much of the time it is. So feel free to reach out. And I'll also put some links here that you'll want to take a look at for labs. All right. Hope that helps.
