How do I detox mold if I have a glutathione intolerance?

Matt Kelly explains how to detox mold safely if glutathione makes you feel worse. Start with foundational support for your liver, kidneys, and lymphatics instead, use gentler binders like humic or fulvic acid, and consider molybdenum or NAC to support sulfur metabolism without triggering a reaction.

Carla's asking the question here about glutathione, says she has an intolerance to glutathione. And you go to someone that doesn't work with a lot of chronic or sensitive people, including mold, they'll usually throw a couple things at you. They'll tell you to get on glutathione, charcoal and biocidin. Those are three common ones. It's kind of like, hey, just do this. And it can absolutely. All of those can be too much for someone, especially if they're chronic, mold, toxic and starting out. That can all be too much for people. But glutathione too early can be a problem for people because sometimes they can't tolerate the sulfur in it. Or maybe they have a CBS mutation where their body isn't processing sulfur. Right. You could add some molybdenum to see if that helps support the sulfur processing. But I would say just back up, don't do glutathione number one. That's the obvious thing. Support the liver with the, you know, there's lots of herbal, herbal complexes like here's cellcourse, kale support. So supports kidney and liver. There's lots of different things. For kids, I use biore, but some nac, you back up, you know, go a little, little before and support it and get your liver to start making your own glutathione as opposed to adding it directly. Because this is not unique. Like there's a lot of people that can't tolerate it, or it's just mobilizing toxins too fast and your liver can't deal with it. And maybe your liver is unhappy. Maybe you got sluggish bile flow, maybe you're not pooping twice a day. There's a lot of reasons that these products, including glutathione, can be too much for someone. So that's why I always talk about foundational support starting at pooping and bile flow. Liver support, kidney support, lymphatic support, gentle binding with sludge, humic and fulvic acid. All these things we can do, or if we have to, we back all the way up to homeopathic. Right. So this is desbios detox protocol. And this is what I use with sensitive people. And it supports liver, kidneys, lymphatic and all these things for people that are sensitive and can't, aren't ready to jump into heavier detox. Right. So if you're sensitive or have an intolerance to glutathione, you just accept it. You can't change it. But what we do is find other ways to support the liver and our own glutathione production. And then maybe later, though you very well may be able to tolerate it later, so I hope that helps.
