Short how-to video by Matt Kelly offering quick, topical advice for removing visible surface mold (bathroom grout, tub/shower, window sills). He recommends using hydrogen peroxide (commonly 3% retail; stronger 6–12% available online, with PPE), white vinegar, or a ready-to-use EC3 spray for light surface cleaning, and closes with a consultation offer as "the Mold Man."

Joanne's asking about cleaning or getting rid of mold. Now. I'm gonna go with this from the topical mold. So say you see mold in your bathroom, mold on the grout, mold on the tub or shower door, somewhere around there. Let's say that's what we're trying to get rid of. Good tools for that are hydrogen peroxide. You're only going to get about 3% at your local Walmart or pharmacy, but if you can go online and get a 6, 8 12%, make sure you wear gloves, goggles, a mask, because you can have some fumes and crazy things happening as you're dealing with this, but strong hydrogen peroxide is a good option. Vinegar, white vinegar, same thing. Especially if some people get the really strong vinegar. Again, that's where you need goggles, masks, gloves. You don't want that on your skin. But what I use around the house, like when our windows condensate and in the kids room, sometimes I see a little bit of mold starting at the bottom of the window. I just spray EC3. You know it already. I just buy it in the squeeze bottles. I don't have to mix it, it's just ready and I do give it a shake, but I just spray it and wipe it up with paper towel. It's that easy. So those are a couple options for cleaning topical visible mold. And I'll put a link for the EC3 here, but for the vinegar or the hydrogen peroxide, you're going to buy that locally or online.
