Matt Kelly answers a viewer question about detoxing mold when you have genetic SNPs (examples: MTHFR, HLA-DR). He emphasizes that SNPs do not mean you cannot detox, only that they add layers to a protocol. For MTHFR he recommends checking B-vitamin status via a micronutrient panel and supplementing appropriate B vitamins. For HLA-DR he explains the immune system may not tag mycotoxins properly, but the overall detox protocol is similar: monitor progress with labs, use multiple binders to remove mycotoxins, and proceed cautiously while observing labs and symptoms. The video ends with a consultation promotion.

All right, we got a great question by Simone here, and it is how to detox when have a genetic snip and struggle to detox it. So you could be. Are you talking hladr, snp, or maybe mthfr even. Here's the thing you have to be careful about is when people find out they have mthfr variation or variations. And no, it's not a mutation. Don't say mutation. You're not a mutant. Okay? Or hladr, which means for those of you that don't know, that just means that your. Your immune system isn't tagging mycotoxins as a problem, so it's not flagging them as a problem to get rid of them. Okay. Obviously, nobody's body is unable to detox. If that was the case, you'd be dead. Okay. Because we have metabolic. Not just toxins coming in, but metabolic waste that needs to be detoxed, hormones that need to be dealt with, all the chemicals and toxins coming in from our food, drink, air, and goods. But when you do have SNPs like this, it does add another layer to a protocol. And what we want to do, if it's mthfr, we just want to keep an eye on your bees. So do a micronutrient panel and see where they're at and take the proper bee supplements if that's the case. If you have hla, Doctor, it's. Again, it doesn't really change the protocol much because we still need to get those toxins out, those mycotoxins out. We're still measuring progress with labs, and we have multiple binders and good options for getting them out. So we. We have good options. You just have to monitor and watch as you go along. But some people think it throws a massive wrench into their detox protocol. It doesn't. Okay. It's just another couple layers. We have to watch and manage those. And you'll continue on your protocol like everybody else. I hope that helps.
