Short YouTube excerpt (spoken transcript) in which Matt Kelly answers questions about pulmonary aspergillosis. He explains that doctors commonly treat lung aspergillosis with oral azole antifungals (example: itraconazole) or nebulized pharmaceuticals, and states his personal preference for using natural antifungal herbs (including nebulizing them) while advising cautious, gradual dosing and medical oversight. A second speaker briefly promotes booking a consultation with Matt for mold-related issues.

All right, I've seen a few questions about aspergillosis. Usually people are referring to the lungs. You can have these aspergillus infection in other areas of the body, but most of the time when people are talking about it, it's in the lungs. Okay. So if your doctors find that and they're doing X ray or CT or something, usually they could be. Or shouldn't say. Usually they could be. Put you up, putting you on one of the azoles. Itraconazole is one of the pharmaceuticals. I mean, I don't like pharmaceuticals when we don't need them, but sometimes we need them. And itraconazole could be a good option for that. There's a couple other zoles there. They also have pharmaceuticals that you can nebulize to your lungs to try to target that more precisely. If it were me, I would be going heavy on the natural antifungal herbs, and I would be nebulizing some antifungal herbs, too. I'm not telling you what to do here. I'm telling you what I would do if I had to deal with that. But you definitely have to get after that in a pretty heavy fashion. It's going to have to titrate up to a heavy fashion. But you always start low and slow to make sure you can tolerate whatever you're doing, especially if you're trying something new like nebulizing. But if your doctor wants to prescribe you something like itraconazole, that could be helpful. But again, I would be myself, personally. I would be using the antifungal herbs that we have and nebulizing with those as well. All right. I hope that helps.
