What do mold symptoms look like?

Matt Kelly describes mold toxicity symptoms: sinus infections, fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, hives, and respiratory problems. He notes these overlap with Lyme disease and recommends a fasting urine mycotoxin test from Mycotoxin Lab to check for exposure.

All right, we got a good question from Maria here. She's interested in. Interested in knowing more about symptoms for people with mold toxicity, as I think I might be affected, and I'm thinking about going to get some tests. All right, Maria, number one, I'm sorry that you're having symptoms and you're considering mold, but at the same time, if it is mold, I'm glad you found your way here because medical doctors will almost never tell people it could be mold because they think mold begins and ends at an allergy. They don't understand what might. They don't know what mycotoxins are or understand what they do to the body. So you asked about symptoms here. So this is off one of my blog posts. I'm going to read this list because this is a big list, but I'm going to run through this. And the other thing I tell people is there's so much crossover between symptoms, between Lyme disease and mold toxicity. And unfortunately, they often come together. And you've probably seen my posters behind me. Mold is usually the one that initiates it because of the immunosuppression, which then allows other infections. It doesn't have to be Lyme and co infections. It can be, you know, Epstein Barr and cytomegalovirus and all these other things that we already have in our bodies but are kept suppressed by a functioning immune system. But because backwards here, because mold suppresses the immune system, it now allows, you know, everything to get out of whack once that immunosuppression gets to a certain point. But here's off on my blog post on pharmacy.com Farm A C Y headaches, irritated eyes, blurry eyes, sinus infections. That's a big one. I grew up in mold. I was an original moldy from a long time ago, and I had sinus infections. I would go to the medical doctor who would just shovel me antibiotics every year, multiple times. A winter chest infection, sinus infection. It was awful. Once I figured out how to start detoxing my body and healing, it never went. Not one single prescription. Not one infection like that that I needed help with. So. But I used to have that. I didn't know I'd go in. She's like, okay, what do you want? I would literally pick out my own antibiotics. I'd say, well, this one's not working anymore. Let's go to this one. It was awful. But that's our medical system. Okay? Fatigue, sneezing, skin issues, brain fog, neurological problems, digestive issues, word recollection issues. Hives. The number one cause of mast cell activation in hives is mold toxicity. Okay? If you know someone that has mast cell issues, histamine issues, and they don't know anything about mold, drop the hint, okay? Because that could very well be what it is if you're always getting sick. And, you know, like, I know families where their kids are always sick. Or instead of a bug lasting, you know, a cold lasting a week or two, it lasts, like, two months, Something crazy. Okay? Nosebleeds, like I talked about in another video. Coughs, numbness and tingling, increased urination, abdominal pain, night sweat, static shocks, food sensitivities, metallic taste in mouth, shortness of breath, asthma, cardiac issues, nausea. The list goes on. There's just so many problems, and everyone's a little different. Everyone? Most people, thankfully, don't have all these, but you could pick out, you know, five to 10. It seems to be common with people of what's going on. You know, in kids, a lot of times you're getting the abdominal issues, digestive issues, and then you have food sensitivities, food allergies, autoimmunity kicking in. You see increased urination, more in women. Brain fog and memory problems, obviously, are a big one. Fatigue is a massive one. Right. So there is a lot of symptoms, but those are some of the most common. And ruling out mold toxicity is a great idea, Maria, because it's a simple fasting urine test. Okay, so I'll try to remember. Put a link here to the mycotoxin lab, and then you can rule that in or out. I hope that helps.
