This is a YouTube clip titled "How Snackpass Has Evolved & Scaled Beyond College Campuses (Benjamin Chat Clip)" (posted 2022-03-02). It is an interview-style exchange between an interviewer (SPEAKER A) and a Snackpass representative (SPEAKER B, likely Benjamin) about Snackpass's origins on college campuses, its Gen Z/social focus (students sharing/sending food), the value it provides restaurants as organic marketing, and how the product has expanded to target young professionals and community-oriented city markets.

You know, so you mentioned when you kind of joined like earlier on, right, with like a smaller team kind of on college campuses. So, you know, what was that like initial kind of, you know, use case of like who SnackPass was for then in that product experience? And, you know, how has that maybe changed as you've kind of, you know, scaled to new markets and maybe even outside of, you know, campuses?
Definitely, definitely. I think the mindset of the consumer wanting to connect with each other about food actually goes regardless of age and demographic, whether you're you know, 90 years old, you're gonna still talk about your favorite, you know, bakery than when you're 20. But what we found is, you know, students especially love to connect on technology as well. And we really wanted to figure out a way that they could, you know, send food to each other, let their friends know what they're ordering, when they're ordering, who they're interacting with. So I think the student and, you know, Gen Z, we were built like by and for Gen Z. initially as the target market was so critical because they're, you know, we're a social media platform on itself, but, you know, very organic and everyone involved is like an active customer for these restaurants. So these restaurants see the SnackPass users as much, much big value adds than someone just like coming in their restaurant because they know that they're a marketing agent for that restaurant. So, and as we've expanded, I think, you know, it's the students are very exciting, but young professionals and other like professionals that are very, very focused on eating, working, living in like certain environments are super great. So now, you know, we're launching in these cities and we really want to find areas that people are still have that sense of community. It's all about that sense of community. So I think that, that goes, and it started with us at colleges, but it continues in cities as well.
