Healing Our Light Body with Meghan Swidler | Human Design with Jenna Zoe

In this interview, host Jenna Zoe speaks with holistic health and detox expert Meghan Swidler about the foundational role of digestion in Human Design’s four‑transformation framework and why detoxification must precede any health optimization. Drawing on the idea that food is the densest form of conditioning, they discuss how modern conditioning—processed foods, supplements, and external “quick‑fix” products—keeps the body in a state of toxin overload, leading to gut, hormone, skin and energy issues. Swidler introduces the concept of “quick‑exit” foods rich in fiber, live enzymes, biophotons and nutrients that elevate the body’s energetic frequency, and outlines practical daily tools: raw whole foods, cold‑pressed juices, sweating (sauna, movement), thorough chewing, and mindful eating rituals. They describe a two‑pronged detox strategy—inputs (nutrient‑dense foods) and outputs (colon, liver, and deeper toxin removal) with a sequential focus on colon cleansing, liver support, then parasites/heavy metals. The conversation expands to broader lifestyle simplicity: seasonal eating, intermittent fasting, digital and relational detox, and the importance of focusing energy on what truly fuels the body. Swidler emphasizes that once cellular congestion is cleared, intuitive eating naturally returns, leading to a “frequency upgrade” that positively impacts mental, emotional and spiritual realms, making the individual a magnet for opportunities. Finally, Swidler shares her resources—two books, digital cleanse programs, one‑on‑one coaching—and her mission to bring this inner‑healing paradigm into the mainstream.

I'm so grateful to be in this moment in time, having the conversation I'm about to have with a guest who I'll introduce you to in a second. But I want to provide some energetic context behind why this conversation is happening now rather than before or after this. There's a couple of different things. RA Uruhu, who is the founder of human Design, used to say that food is the most dense form of conditioning that we can have as humans on this planet, because we are constantly filling ourselves with physical dense energy every single day.
And.
And it's a very concrete way of conditioning us on a cellular level. And so there's a part of your human design called the four transformations. And the first transformation, which if you don't pass go, you can't get to the next ones. The first one is your digestion. Without proper digestion, you can't even unlock being in your genius. And that was one of the things that is like very much stated to him. The second one is if we go to the astrology of the moment, there are these points in astrology called the nodes, the North Node and the south node. And they are always this sort of like imagine this axis that we have to explore as a collective and sort of sit on. Right now the north and south nodes have just changed. It's just switched into the north node being in Pisces and the south node being in Virgo. What does that mean? The north node means that we have to stretch into our spirituality, our limitless nature, our sort of mystical side, our soul, self, and an aspect of being the Virgo south node, which is what we release. Aside from the Virgo tendencies, like we want to release, like compulsion and over planning and being kind of clingy and strict to things. It's also a call to really work on Virgo being the sign that rules health. It's a sign to actually get the body, the. The limitations and the constrictions of the body out of the way in order to access that Pisces, consciousness, spirituality, all of these things. So with those two things being said, I feel like it's the perfect time to speak to a voice that I just think is so on point and progressive when it comes to health, that is My dear friend Megan Swidler, and we have been friends for quite a few years now. And we are so aligned in our point of view on why nourishment matters and what it does, because we both come at it from a spiritual lens. So I guess I'm curious on what your take and how you put it before we start with anything, firstly, I'm just so happy to be speaking to you today. But also, can you just tell me the way that you see what you do from a higher, from that higher perspective and, and why it really matters.
Well, thank you for that beautiful introduction, Jenna. And hi everyone. I'm Megan. I'm a holistic health and detox expert and I'm so grateful to finally be here. I'm just, I'm so lit up to have this conversation with you. So thank you. And yeah, I think, you know, from a higher perspective, my job in this world is to help people discover their own healing capabilities from within. So I think right now we live in a world that is really focused on the external. Like what food do I eat, what supplement do I take, what product do I use to heal the body? When in reality the body is a self healing, self cleansing, regenerating organism that can heal from within under the right conditions and we just need to give it those conditions. So my job as a practitioner, as a person in this world is to share the knowledge that the body is in fact its own healer. And when we give it the conditions to heal, the body can heal itself. And I think we're moving in a direction in this world in the next 1, 2, 3, 4 years where people are going to start to understand this. And it's very niche right now, but people really, really, really need to understand this fundamental truth. And so, yeah, that's kind of at a higher level how I approach healing and, and how happy to dig into specifics.
What I think is so beautiful when I'm hearing you say all this is, it's reminding me of how it's not what we add, it's not what the body is. It's not coming from it at this perspective that we are broken and we need fixing. It's that we are already having all the technology within and that we just need to honor that. So you could talk a little bit about, I guess why in, in a way it's almost easier to think that you just buy the thing or take the thing or get the test and will be fixed, rather than actually this knowing that we are not fundamentally broken and how I guess right now there is an addiction or this sort of, this consumerist thing of thinking that if I just eat enough this, or get my five a day or get my protein or take the thing, then I'll be fine. Like that sort of thinking that we've been indoctrinated with and how actually you can't win at that game. You have to exit the game altogether.
Mm, totally. Yeah, I, I agree with what you said. The majority of people right now, and even practitioners, to be honest, think that the food you eat, the supplements you take, the products you use will give you the physical results that you're looking for. And again, as you just said, we have been indoctrinated into this world to have that belief system or this worldview that something external outside of ourselves will heal us. And this is exacerbated by things like social media, where we're constantly getting inundated with products that claim specific health benefits and transformations and functions within the body, right? So people are living in this worldview that something outside of themselves will heal them. And that couldn't be further from the truth. So the inputs are, of course important, and we can talk a little bit later about food and how that supports the body through the cleansing and healing process. But the outputs are way, way, way, way more important. So, you know, if you are struggling with physical symptoms, if you are experiencing, whether it's gut issues or hormone issues or skin issues, your internal system is overloaded with toxins, right? A bunch of things that flood our mainstream diet and lifestyle. What happens is your internal system becomes weakened and obstructed, you lose that life force energy, your organs start to become significantly impaired, basic functions within your body start to be, sort of start to malfunction, and then you experience cellular congestion and breakdown over time, and that results in the physical symptoms that you have. So, so in that case, literally no amount of optimization, no missing miracle ingredient, no powder, gummy, drink, mix, supplement, pill will work. Instead. You need to empty your system, empty your bucket, do so correctly with the right cleansing modalities, actually regenerate your organs and systems at the cellular level before you can even think about optimizing. And some analogies that I find super helpful that I like to use is like, if a fish is sick, you need to clean the tank, not the fish. If a flower is not growing, you need to fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower. And if a house, you know, if, if you're deep cleaning your house and you leave garbage bags all over the floor in your kitchen, your house is not going to be clean. The same thing applies to your body. And so if you don't remember anything else, simply remember that you absolutely must focus on detoxification before you focus on optimization. You need to give your body the conditions to heal. It's like trying to build a house on top of a broken foundation that does not work. You need to fix the foundation first. And so this shift is so critically important for people to understand when they're embarking on a healing journey. And because it is probably one of the most transformative shifts that you can experience in your worldview. So instead of seeing it as like, oh, I need something outside of myself to fix my internal body, you need to remember that again, your body, as I said before, is its own, you know, it's its own healer. Right? When you have a cut on your hand and it like a little cut and it bleeds, it scabs over and then new skin regenerates, the same thing applies to your internal organs and systems and when you give them the right conditions to heal. And this, this is something I just want everyone in the world to really deeply understand because it will transform how people heal themselves, if that makes sense.
I think that's so beautiful because it's trusting in. There is a divine intelligence that is running things and therefore you're not broken. You know that that can be applied to so many areas of life and we just don't apply it enough to food, you know, so specifically. And I want, I want to highlight what you're saying about, you know, the skin issues, the gut issues, the hormone issues. They don't have a separate necessarily, like they don't have a different cure. The cure will cure everything all at the same time. And so that also gives you so much freedom that it doesn't have to be this like, complicated thing, thing that we just don't have enough information that we don't understand. One of the early human design books says that, you know, if you were trying to make a decision based on your mind, and let's say you were trying to make a decision on what's the best food to eat, there wouldn't be enough time in your days to read everything that's ever been said. So any kind of conclusion you would ever make would be inadequate and like unqualified.
Right?
Because you haven't read everything, so it would be inconclusive. So we have to almost get rid of this addiction to knowing more as being the solution and just focus on true information like capital T, like from above.
Right.
So trusting in the divine intelligence within is so important. So then you also said the foods that can support the cleansing and the output. So can you talk about what makes not a specific food cleansing, but a specific, I guess, way of setting up what you're going to consume and how that can help with how that can support the body to cleanse itself.
Yeah, I'll talk about food. And I want to address a point you just made about, you know, these issues, these physical symptoms are not dissimilar people. You know, Western medicine, again, has created this worldview that, or conventional medicine that all of these different issues are different things, right? So if you have hormone issues, you go to an endocrinologist. If you have gut issues, you go to a gastroenterologist. If you have skin issues, you go to a dermatologist. When in reality, the body is an orchestra, it's a symphony. So imbalances in one part of the body will affect other areas of the body. And when in reality, when in reality, when you take this approach to healing, all of these issues go away in one fell swoop. The thyroid rebalances, the hormones rebalance, gut issues go away. Skin issues go away. You will experience a life force, energy and vitality that you have probably never experienced, experienced before. And this typically all happens at the same time because the body is, you know, one singular vessel, right? These issues are not separate. So I just wanted to address that and then let's get to food. So, like, what makes food? Like what, what. How can a food support you along your cleansing journey? So, you know, there's this concept of quick, quick exit foods. They're light, airy, fresh, they move through a system very, very quickly. They give you a lot of vitamins, minerals, nutrients, biophotons, live enzymes, antioxidants. So they're giving you a lot, right? They're giving you a lot in terms of their nutritional value, but they're moving through the system very, very quickly. Fiber is a commonality between all these whole foods. And fiber acts as an intestinal broom that sort of moves and sweeps up built up matter in your. And then lastly, they leave very little residue in the body. So I think fundamentally these foods are elevating your energetic frequency. At the end of the day, they are allowing the removal of stagnant waste and toxicity and debris within the body to allow the energy within your body to flow, flow freely. And then when you raise your energetic frequency, when you raise your physical frequency, that actually cascades into the mental, emotional, spiritual realm as well. So you mentioned something about the four, you know, the four levels of transformation and digestion being the first thing you need to elevate your physical frequency to be able to then step into your zone of genius. If you're continuously weighed down by stagnant waste and chemicals and pesticides and mold and fungus and toxicity within the body, you, your Physical vessel is not the right, you know, is not the right channel for you to step into that zone of genius. And so I think what these foods ultimately support is the elevation of your energetic frequency. Right. And, and they do so by giving you a lot again, of vitamins, minerals, nutrients, by supporting the cleansing process and by leaving very little residue within the body. Hmm.
It's so, it's so beautiful because, you know, a lot of people eat for weight or eat for good skin or eat for whatever the reasons we have. And I think those reasons are beautiful, right, because we're supposed to be esthetically built beings having a physical experience. Of course we want to feel good, of course we want to feel beautiful, all these things. But of course the divine would make it one in the same that if you just pay attention to nourishing yourself for your frequency, for your aura, for your connection to the divine, you never have to think about the other things because they just fall into place. And so it doesn't have to take a massive amount of focus and complexity to reach those things as well. And I, that's why I'm so excited to have you on today, because there is a way of thinking about how you eat that is for a higher purpose, like a bigger why, which is your ability to express the divine that's within you and without having a ceiling on it that is feeling bad every day or feeling heavy or sluggish or compromised every single day. Because I know that feeling. You know that feeling, and it is a ceiling.
Totally, totally. Yeah. I think we're entering into a world in which we are going to, we are starting to go back to simplicity, to ancient healing wisdom. So we're really like inundated right now with synthetic man made solutions to our problems. And from like a health standpoint, this couldn't be more true. Right. I get, you know, outreach from tons of brands and I get ads from tons of brands on social media just promising all of these things. And it's a protein bar, protein powder, colostrum or what, you know, all these things that we get inundated with. And I think we need to return to simplicity, to nature's intelligence. So seasonal eating, fasting is like literally the most forgotten cure to healing the body. Intermittent fasting, detoxification, aligning with circadian and lunar rhythms. Like, this is, this is just simplicity. This is just nature's intelligence. This is what we need to return to right now. And I think people are starting to realize this, but I think in the next two to three years, we're Going to see a massive shift in this direction towards more of a simple way of eating, a simple way of being, a simple way of living and just detoxing from all the, all the fluff. Right. It's not just about detoxing your body, which is incredibly important. It's about detoxing your mind. It's about detoxing your phone, detoxing your apps, detoxing your house, detoxing your relationships and coming back to simplicity across all areas of your life. And yeah, I think this is going to be incredibly important in the next, in the next wave.
It's so true when you're saying that I'm realizing that we almost have to get to this place where we are sick of consuming more information. We know that that hasn't really gotten us back very far. We care so much less about so much stuff. I don't know if you've noticed this, but we just care so much less about stuff we used to care about a few years ago. And we've kind of reached our limit. We've had enough. So when you say that, I'm like, of course it's going to happen with, with food and nutrition too because why wouldn't it, like, why wouldn't it apply to that one other area of our lives? But maybe we are in, I'm curious your thoughts about this. We've never spoken about this before, but do you think we've kind of reached some sort of like peak moment where it's almost at an all time high before the simplicity has to come in? Like, what's your thoughts on that?
100%. I talk about this a lot on social, but I really think we are just, we're at this tipping point right now where we're just completely inundated right, with you know, products and supplements and gummy. That's all from a health perspective. But we're inundated with notifications, we're inundated with apps, we're inundated with news, we're inundated with all sorts of things and people, I think the people struggle with eliminating distractions. Like that's, I think the biggest hindrance towards achieving your utmost potential. It's not that you don't know what you need to do or that you're not, you know, it's that you're not focused on the right things. It's that you're really continuously distracted by all of these things around you. And so I think we're going to be entering into a world where, and we are entering into A world where people are starting to realize this, realizing that, oh, their distractions, the things that are distracting them across all of these areas of their life are really, their biggest weakness is their biggest obstacle towards achieving their highest potential, not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. And I think we're really at this tipping point where people are starting to realize this across all areas. So thinking about relationships, okay, what relationships actually give me energy versus what are the relationships that are draining me of my energy? From like a phone and social media perspective, people are putting like blocks on their apps and putting their phones in lockboxes and starting to do digital detoxes and turn off their phones for 24 to 48 hour windows because they realize, wow, this thing that is giving me so much is also my biggest weakness. From like a mind perspective, people are realizing, oh, I want to detox myself from all of these negative fears and deep, you know, deep rooted emotional trauma and negative patterns and blocks to come back to my true spirit, spiritual essence within me, which is love, light and abundance. And then from, again, from a detox perspective of the body, people are starting to realize, okay, if I just detox myself from all of this, build up this toxic accumulated waste within the body and debris, I can come back to my true essence, my like, you know, up leveled physical frequency. And so it's all really the same approach to healing across all of these different areas. And I think we're starting to see that the way to heal is this way, which is eliminating again the, eliminating the obstruction, eliminating the blocks to achieve that vitality, that life force, that flow that allows you to be in that, in that elevated frequency that we're talking about.
That's so beautiful because that's really, you know, the tenet of what we talk about here, which is like, it's unbecoming all the things you were told to be so that your real self can come through. And you know, I want to acknowledge that the temptation and the conditioning is so real because I specifically. Megan, we've never spoken about this either, but I specifically, every time my algorithm tries to send me a what I eat in a day video, I like click. They're not interested. I click. I don't want to know. Like, I specifically give it the feedback and it still wants to give me. If you have a headache, you might have parasites or this one thing is shown to do detoxification, lymph thing, weight loss. You know, it gives you all the claims for this one thing and everything seems to do anything. And I just feel like Gosh, it's. It's really. You really have to be at every point. So not having a weak moment or it will get you. And the powerful thing about knowing the truth of what you're saying is that it does allow you to not let that stuff get in every time because you know something different. Because otherwise it will come in and it will kind of. It will like, latch onto you at some point.
Totally. 100%. Yeah. It's interesting that you say that. So my, you know, I have a word. I'm a pretty structured thinker, as, you know, and operator. And I really love systems. And my like word for 2025 is focus. And I actually have these questions that I go through every week that really allow me to stay true and intentional about my time and energy. So very put very simply, what gave me energy this week, what drained me of my energy, what could I have said no to, and what could I have delegated, deleted, automated, or minimized? And it's a very simple exercise that takes me a little bit of time every week, but it allows me to just reflect on my week. I'd look at what are the people, places, activities, and things that drained me that didn't really feel very good. And how can I move into the next week being more into even more intentional about my time and energy. And I think the people that will really step into leadership roles, into this elevated frequency and into, you know, positions of influence. And. Yeah, positions of influence are people who will be very intentional like this, who will really sort of audit all these different areas of their lives and just be really focused and intentional about how they spend their time and energy.
And it's a. It's a really, really challenging thing to. It's not a one and done. You know, you don't just stay focused and then you're done for life. It's like it's. Life is a constant every single day. What do I want to put my thoughts and my energy into? And that's what I also find, you know, food is often the opening into wanting to have a connection with spirituality. Not every time, but it does open the door because think about how much mental time and like space in your thoughts you're freeing up from not having to think about food in this, like, confused way all the time. That's the part that I think is such an up level is like, I've minimized the amount of time that the outside world will tell us that we have to spend contorting and controlling and making sure and, you know, everything has to be on such a tight leash. And you know, on the other side there's also like intuitive eating, which is kind of eat what you want, but then that's still sort of like, I don't know, there's no higher truth in that necessarily, because obviously, and as I've learned from you and your contemporaries that, you know, if you have, let's say, an internal cellular structure that is not so well, then you will have cravings for things that you will not want to have maybe, and think that that's intuitive because you want the chocolate cake every day. But that's not the real you necessarily. That's speaking. And that's not to, it's not to make bad any type of foods, but it's just to say that there's a way of transcending all of these approaches that is just removing the, the mental noise around it altogether.
Totally, totally. And I think something that you said there is like, it's very, yeah, it's very hard to tap into your intuition, like from an intuitive eating standpoint if your cells are experiencing cellular congestion and breakdown because your cells are not actually giving you the right information, they're broken. Right. So your, your intuition around what to eat is very cloudy because of the fact that your cells are not working properly. But what happens when you actually cleanse the body at the cellular level and your cells actually become clean, is that your taste buds, your appetite, your cravings start to change. I just got off a call with a client yesterday who said it's so crazy. When I started my work with you, I was like, my cravings were uncontrollable, like to the point where I, if I thought about like pizza, bagels, cookies, like I ha. I had to eat the gluten free cookie or the snack or the whatever thing. But we're, we're a month and a half, two months in and genuinely I'm craving whole, healthy foods. I have no interest in those, those like processed and refined foods anymore. And that's simply because when you come back to, to pure, you know, you know, you become back to a pure state at the cellular level, then you can actually start to tap into your intuition. Then you can actually start to be connected to your body because your cells are actually working properly and they can give you the information that you need. But I think to tell the average person in America that is struggling with all types of physical symptoms, that's metabolically unhealthy, that's infertile, that's depressed, that's, that has a ton of Toxic accumulated waste. To tell that person to just tap into their intuition. That's just not something that's going to work. Right? So again, I think intuitive eating applies when and only when and if your body is in the right frequency to allow for that.
And it's so true, because it happened to me two weeks ago. All of a sudden I was like, gosh, I really want basil. Basil, you know, I was like, gosh, I really have this, like, hankering out of nowhere. It's not like I had it yesterday. I'm like, oh, my God, I just, like, need it. I was, like, salivating thinking about it. And I had it, and I had it for a few days and then it was kind of gone. But I just know that that was my body telling me, like, something to do with maybe not even the nutrient in the basil, but just, like, maybe the frequency of it, who knows? There's so much more to food than we think. And I love that you pointed that out in the beginning. You said you're getting the nutrients, the enzymes, whatever, and then you said the biophotons, which I found fascinating. Can you talk about that, please? Because this is the part about food that really excites me and makes me think, oh, my God, there's so much magic in it that we're glossing over because we are fixated on getting the 30 grams of protein energy.
I know. Wow, I love talking about this. So, yeah, I think what people need to understand with food is that food is energy, right? So when you eat raw foods, like raw, whole, unprocessed foods, you're getting a lot of things that you are not getting when you cook food, and especially when you're eating completely dead food. So dead food is, you know, anything processed or refined or packaged that's in a plastic bottle or paper bag that you buy on the grocery store that has been sitting on the shelf for one or two months that was imported from God knows where, those. Those foods are dead. So these living, raw foods have a few things, so they have a tremendous amount of nutrients. Right? When you cook food, you're kind of losing out on, you know, nutrients that food. Food has. You have live enzymes which are absolutely critical for so many different functions within the body and for digestion. When you kill food, when you cook food, you lose out on those live enzymes and then biophotons, literally energy from the sun. So energy, your food is energy. And so when you consume live enzymes, when you consume biophotons, you are literally getting energy directly from source. That then is within your physical vessel that then sort of permeates outward into the world. And so anyone I know that embodies this lifestyle, actually embodies this energy, this life force, this vitality that then permeates outward and that's, you know, fundamentally as a result of these nutrients, these biophotons, these live enzymes. So it's, it's super interesting to me and strange that everyone is so obsessed with protein. Right. What we really should be obsessed with is fiber. By 97 of Americans are deficient in fiber. So we're all obsessed with protein, but we completely forget about fiber. And then to layer on top of that, we need to be obsessed with nutrients, with biophotons, with live enzymes. These are actually the things that are nourishing you at the cellular level and that are elevating your frequency not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. And people don't, no one talks about these things. Like, you know, anytime I post about biophotons, people are like, what's, what's a biophoton? Like, what's a live enzyme? You know, no one's talking about these things, but these are the fundamental building blocks, like, of a healthy body. And they're coming directly from our food. Right. And so we're really, we're really losing sight of that. And I think it's really important for people to know these things as they embark on their journey because it's, it's so, so important for, for healing the body and for nourishing the body.
Yeah, it's, it's literally eating light and it's putting light, adding light to your aura, to your vessel. So we want to make those positive deposits. I wonder as you're talking about the protein and I want to just, it's obvious to you and I, but just to, you know, go back to 22 year old me. It doesn't mean that there is no place for some of these things, these other things in your diet as you're going along. Because, you know, oftentimes it's not about going from 0 to 100 overnight with this. It's a, it's a lifestyle that you build and you honor where you're at in the, in your process and what you're used to yesterday. And you don't kind of jank yourself too extremely. But I also wonder, I've never thought that, I've thought about this before, but I wonder if also the protein thing is helping people because we have this myth that we couldn't just stay full on, you know, a lot of fruits and vegetables and things, or we're used to that feeling of heaviness that maybe we're more comfortable like temporarily going for three pieces of chicken a day if it's replacing, you know, the candies and the cookies and the whatever. Even if the candies and the cookies are gluten free and vegan and refined sugar free and all those things, whether that's kind of marginally a better step for a lot of people to be taking and that, but it's just not the end goal. So not to be confused with everything will always be right as long as I stick to my 30 grams. But maybe understanding that if that's where you're at right now and it's really helping you keep at it, but then know that there will be a progression at some point. Like how do you help people who are sort of like in the middle transitioning? How do you help people build some kind of lifestyle that is more cleansing than where they were yesterday? What are some like easy cues that people listening can kind of start to implement that can do that for them?
Yeah, and I, I really, I really first want to agree with what you said. Like, I think, you know, 93% of Americans are metabolically unhealthy. We have, you know, 74% of Americans are overweight or obese. Over 50% of Americans are pre diabetic or diabetic. So the average person is metabolically unhealthy, infertile, depressed, overweight and has a tremendous amount of health issues and has like one or more chronic disease diseases. So the average person, if they're going from eating refined sugars, refined carbs, grains, bagels, pasta, cookies, bagels, refined seed oils, and they're going to eating, you know, 30 grams of protein at every meal. And that kind of shifts them into eating unprocessed whole foods or maybe organic pasture raised chicken or grass fed meat or you know, wild caught fish or. And that's, that is a step, step marginally in the right direction. Right. Because they're moving away from, you know, processed foods and they're moving towards healthy whole foods. Right. But it doesn't necessarily mean that it's the end goal. I think the end goal is, you know, a few steps further. But I just wanted to like echo that. I think that is an important step for the average person that is extremely unhealthy. And I think it can be a stepping stone towards optimal health and vitality. And so, you know, when I work with clients, it's all about the person's starting point, Right. If you're starting with someone who's eating, you know, an extreme example, you know, fast food three times a day and eating, you know, completely 100% processed foods, that's going to be a very different starting point than someone who comes eating mostly whole foods, but a lot of protein. Right? It's a very, very different starting point. And if you're someone who's on this journey, you know, there's a few things that I think could be helpful to you in stepping into this, you know, this life force, energy and vitality that we talk about. So a few simple things like eating more unprocessed whole foods. As we've said, these, you know, these, these raw whole foods, fresh fruits, fresh non starchy vegetables. Starchy vegetables, ideally in their raw state, have a tremendous amount of fiber. And fiber acts as an intestinal broom that sweeps up all of this built up waste and matter in your system. And again, not only that, but these foods have vitamins, minerals, nutrients, biophotons, live enzymes, antioxidants, fiber, glucose, amino acids that give your body everything that it truly needs. So that's the first thing, I think the second thing as drinking a cold pressed vegetable or green juice. So juice is very different than a smoothie or a whole food. It's stripped of fiber. And when it's stripped of fiber, especially if it's green, again, vegetable forward, not fruit forward, all of the vitamins, minerals and nutrients from all of those whole foods that you juiced can go straight to your cells to do very, very important cleansing and healing work within the body. So juicing could be probably one of the most powerful daily cleansing and detoxification tools. Sweating just again, you have four channels of elimination in the body. You have the bowels of the urine, the lungs and the skin. The bowels are the biggest channel of elimination, but the skin is another big one. And so movement, physical activity, infrared, sauna, steam room, anything that allows your just being in the direct sun, sunlight on a hot day, just allowing your body to sweat will release stored toxins directly from the body. And so that's a third and then I think a fourth one that's so overlooked, but I need to call out is chewing your food. So people are in such a rush when they're eating. Every single person that I work with is like eating on a zoom call. Eating in the car, eating in under five minutes, eating in three minutes, like shoveling food in their mouth. And what people don't realize is that you're actually supposed to bite every single bite of food. And this is crazy to even say, but people don't realize this. 32 times, 32 times for each bite of food. And you know, chewing your food is pre digestion and so if you're just inhaling whole food, you're actually preventing, you know, you're hindering your body's ability to properly digest the food that you're eating. And so I always encourage people not only to focus on what they're eating, but how they're eating. So sit down at the table, you know, put music on, get rid of your phone, you know, get rid of all your distractions, light a candle, you know, take a deep breath before you eat your food. Express gratitude for your food and eat slowly. Put your fork down in between bites. Chew your food thoroughly. I think this is so important, so often overlooked and really, really important for stepping into this way of life. So yeah, those are a few things, there's so many others. And yeah, that is just some like helpful daily tools that people can incorporate.
I'm curious as well because I feel like most people listening, my cluster of people who are listening are people who already like, probably a lot of people you work with, pretty healthy gluten free that they've done. They're doing a lot of things that are like optimizing that maybe already sweating there may be already eating very unrefined whole foods for that person. What are some like, but they're still maybe having like a skin thing or maybe they're still feeling really bloated or carrying an extra five pounds. Like I'm curious about that place because I think that's a place where a lot of people are really in and they're just like, oh my God, is colostrum going to save all this or what do I do next? You know?
Totally, totally. So you know, as I said earlier, it's a two pronged approach. So the inputs are extremely important to support the cleansing process. And we just talked about that. These are like the, the fundamentals, right? Cold pressed juice, eating a lot of whole, you know, fiber rich, enzyme rich whole foods that we're talking about the inputs there, but we also need to focus on the outputs. The outputs are way, way, way more important. So as I said earlier, if you deep clean your house, but then you leave garbage bags all over the floor, your house is not going to be clean. And that's what's kind of happening with the average healthy, healthy person. They're like eating as you said, gluten free, dairy free. They're eating all the Right. Foods. They're sweating, they're juicing, they're doing all the things, but they're still struggling with hormone imbalances, blood sugar, you know, insulin resistance, gut issues, skin issues, thyroid issues, all the things. And the answer to that is the deeper cleansing work. So I like to call these things, you know, the waste management specialists, the things that help get the deeply impacted waste out of your body and support you along that journey. And the person, an average person or physician or conventional medicine practitioner will say, oh, but the body cleanses itself. The kidneys and the liver support the body and cleansing. Well, yeah, that would be true if we were living the life that nature intended for us. And we're actually not. We're not living the life that nature intended for us. So we need support in releasing the waste out of the body. So from like, you know, there's a sequential order for detox that's really important. You have to start with the colon, you have to make sure that you're eliminating two to three times a day and you release the waste out of your colon. Because a slow moving colon prevents all other organs and systems from functioning effectively. So things like at home, enemas, gravity, colonics, and potentially some colon cleansing supplements, if you have like a well functioning system can really support you in again, releasing the waste from the body. And for those of you who want to lose weight, just remember that weight is waste and weight is, yeah, waste weight is waste and waste is weight. So they're interchangeable. Right. If you're trying to lose lose weight, you actually absolutely need to get the waste out of your body. And so that's sort of the stuff from a, from a colon cleansing perspective. And once you work on the colon, once you detoxify the colon and you get your colon back into homeostasis, then you can progress on to other organs and systems within the body. I think one of the most overlooked organs that's really the unsung hero of the body that needs to be properly cleansed and detoxified is the liver. It is the root cause, stagnant, sluggish, overburden. Liver is literally the root cause of blood sugar issues, insulin resistance, the majority of skin issues like acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, thyroid imbalances, hormone imbalances, and all sorts of other things. And so detoxifying the liver, both through herbs and compounds that can be supportive for the liver, potentially liver flushes, can be really supportive in getting your liver back into its original state. And then there's more advanced Things, once you work on those organs and systems, you can move into relieving the body of parasites or mold or heavy metals. But you absolutely need a well functioning system to do that type of cleansing because those things are really deeply stored within the tissues and require. Yeah, like a well functioning system for, for that, those more intense protocols. So yeah, there's, there's a lot there. But I think fundamentally what people need to understand is that it's two pronged, right? The inputs, the food will sort of awaken the waste within your system and the cleansing modalities will remove that which the food has awakened. And these two things in conjunction are what will allow the body to heal and regenerate from within. And so it's not one, it's not the other, it's both. And that's really the key to healing the body.
And this is not about winning any medals, right. It's not about trying to get to the most cleansed person ever and live on being a. Like, I just want to be super clear that you know, your body, if you really trust your body and just let it go at the pace that it guides you to and just gently go, you will always know when you're ready for your next level. And on the waist and weight thing, I think what's so important is that, you know, when people do lose weight, it's because they're also putting less waste in, right. So whether it's by eating less volume or whether it's, you know, reducing the amount of, you know, non cleansing foods that you put in, right. Whether that's just eating yogurt three times a day, you could still lose weight if what you were doing before was more burdensome or heavy. So it does bring this kind of general understanding to. It's not about this one food itself worse than the others. Like, you would never say that a blueberry is better than a BlackBerry, but you also would never say that a cookie is better than a crack cracker. Like it's either it's adding or it's detracting. And so it's also about how much of the detractive stuff you reduce, not so much about. And I'd love you to speak about this like it's not. You will never, the person who's to say, eat this papaya or eat for good digestion, eat, you know, spinach instead of swap it for kale or anything like that. So I'd love you to explain that if you could.
Yeah. So can you, can you elaborate on that a little bit?
Yeah. Just like this sort of, I think even in the, even when you're consuming a lot of health information, there's a lot of conditioning around, like, even natural things that you need to do all this figuring out, like totally, you know, you have to eat spinach for the thyroid rather than kale or any of those kinds of things. So, so I think that's also, it's, it's positive information and it's more natural than some of the other food conditioning, but it's still conditioning. I want to highlight that because that's another kind of trap you can get yourself into. Overthinking of what's healthier than the other healthy thing. You know what I mean?
Totally. 100%. I wanted to address something you said before that's so important for people to remember is that cleansing is a process. It's not a one time event. So we talked about this earlier. People are wired for quick fixes. They think that, oh, like, I'll do something for one week and I'll feel 100% better. That's just not how it works. If you're, you know, in your 30s or 40s and you have 30 to 40 years of accumulated waste within the body, the reversal of that just doesn't get accomplished overnight. And so I think it's important for people to understand that this is a process, it's a lifestyle. And, and it requires ample time for rest, for hydration, for integration. And you don't need to do everything all at once. So don't be, feel like overwhelmed that you need to do all of these things. This can be, you know, we've both been on this journey for, I don't know, I've been on this journey for a decade, you know, so that's really important for people to understand. And then on the foods, you know, on the food side, yes, I think it's important for people to understand that, yeah, again, we're in this world, we're inundated with like, eat these foods for hormone balance or not for hormone balance or eat these foods for the gut microbiome or don't eat these foods for the gut microbiome or eat these foods for the skin, or don't eat these foods for the skin. It's like. Or like what? You know, it's, it's crazy. And so I can't even imagine what it must be like as an individual who is struggling with thyroid issues, gut issues, skin issues, hormone issues, to be inundated with this information and trying to piece together what do I eat today? Because I Need to eat foods that support my skin, that support my thyroid, that support my gut, that support my hormones. Like how do you actually have the mental capacity to figure out how to eat in a given day if you're inundated? You can. If you're, if you have this worldview that that's the way to heal the body, then you are, you must be completely overwhelmed and not know how to navigate your day. Like what even to make for breakfast or lunch because it's so confusing and
so let alone do your purpose totally.
Like how do you actually have time and space for anything else if you're absolutely consumed with all of these things? So I think what's important for people to remember is that it's really about not the addition of, but of the. Of subtract, subtraction, subtracting from the body, of the removal of. So, you know, once you remove the waste from the body, once you remove the accumulation and toxic debris and you come back to your true frequency, then you won't need to eat or approach food in this way. You will just intuitively know and understand and experience that food serves the purpose of, you know, nourishment. And you will know exactly what to eat by way of this new worldview because your body is going to tell you.
And that's, that's. So what we're really offering behind all of this conversation truly is freedom.
Yeah.
You know, from all this overthinking that the world has told us to do, from all this burdening ourselves with stuff that we can just choose to no longer need to burden ourselves with. And I think that's really what's so amazing about what you offer to people, is that, you know, people who I, who we both know, who you've worked with, like they all of a sudden do have this like momentum.
Yeah.
To do the idea that they had or to have the inspiration that they have or they just walk around with more of a pep in their step and their energy is more magnetic and know all of that sort of old school manifestation is true. Like when your vibration is high, you are attractive to more people. I mean, you know, not just physically, not sexually, but I mean just more people want to be around you, be in your energy. And we all, I think that's the why behind most of the things we think we want.
Right.
We think we want the house or the purpose or the whatever. Because we want to feel that brightness, that divine energy leading our bodies rather than the sort of scared, small and constricted overthinking one and this is really just like the lowest lift, spiritual upgrade, no matter where you are. Because even if you are at any point in the cleansing journey and you're just doing the next step or you're just cruising where you are, for now, you are already. It's not that you don't get insane benefits along every step of the way.
Right.
That's why it's not about the end, because you can really experience such amazing stuff when you just do something. A life that's a little bit more cleansing and gentle on you than on your spirit than it was before is like a tangible, visceral miracle.
Totally.
So I want to ask you, you know, what are the kinds of things, just, I'm curious, like, what are the kinds of things that people say when you work with people one on one, you know, things that they didn't expect, let's say, because maybe they came to you for thyroid or for fertility. What are the things that they report back and say that, you know, is like an added bonus?
Yeah. Wow. So many things. I think there's a. There's a few things. So I think one is the simplicity of it all. Like, we have over complicated so much in the health world. It's actually crazy. And so what my clients will say is like, wow, I didn't know that healing my body and getting rid of all these physical symptoms would be. You know, it's obvious. There's obviously a process and there's, you know, it requires intention and effort and focus, but I didn't realize that the framework would be so simple. And then I think the second thing is what you just mentioned about that frequency upgrade, not only in the physical realm, but in the mental, emotional, spiritual realm as well. So, you know, most people are trying to do all the things to have the things to then be someone or somebody or embody certain things. But I think what this lifestyle and this way of healing allows for is the embodiment first. So you are able to embody that true spiritual essence that's already within you and. And really elevate your frequency physically. And that cascades into all other areas of your life. And so what I see with my clients is that they, you know, they get a new job or they find a new partner, or this insane opportunity just comes out of the blue. And, you know, it's because they're elevating their frequency. And when your frequency is elevated, when you are, you have an energetic, you know, upgrade and your aura is vibrating high. You are a magnet for opportunities, abundance and flow within your life. And that's actually the way forward. It's not the doing, the forcing, the overextending yourself, the over giving. It's the trying too hard. It's coming back to simplicity and ease and then magnetically allowing for all of this abundance and to flow into your life. And so that's really the biggest gift and that's for, for everyone. It's like, you know, they come to me for the physical. They come to me because they're like, oh, my skin, I have breakouts or I have gut issues or hormone issues. And yeah, we resolve all of those things. But what's incredible to witness is actually the frequency upgrade and what that then becomes a magnet for in other areas.
That's so beautiful. And I. That is a completely different energy than someone who's seeing this as needing some kind of white knuckling or restriction and thinks that healthy eating has to be hard or difficult. It's actually there's a way of doing it that is the way that you and I do it, where it's just, it's so, it's such a dance with life. It's a such so exciting. It's so life giving. There is no restriction. It's juicy every day. It's, it's free, it's simple. And that's why I'm, I'm just so grateful that you came on today. And also I want to tell people that you offer so many supportive tools. If people do want to interact with you more, can you just tell them about like you do one on ones, you have group cleanses, your book. So like please walk us through all the different things.
Yeah, yeah, thank you. Yeah. So you can find me on all social, so Instagram, substack, LinkedIn. I'm very active across all platforms. I share a lot of free content. I have two books called from within, which is my first book, which is, you know, a gut health guide, and then From Deep within, which is a comp, you know, a cellular cleansing and detoxification guide. And both books are, you know, will be so helpful to you if you're starting on this journey. And then I just recently launched my digital cleanses, so I have basically a free detox quiz that you can take on through my link tree and you can answer a series of questions about where you're at in your detox journey, where you're at in your health journey, and then get redirected towards a cleanse that is well suited for you. So right now I have the cleanse, which is a beginner cleanse. The colon cleanse which is sort of an intermediate cleanse focused on the colon and then the liver cleanse which is a more advanced cleanse focused on the liver. And basically you will be guided through this transformative detox journey towards optimal health and vitality. And of course later I think I'll plan to launch some other cleanses as well. So all that to say I'm here to support you. I'm here to, you know, I also have the one on one coaching as well. So if you want to work with me, you can set up 30 minute consultation and yeah, I'm here to help you. Like I love talking to everyone. So if you want to DM me, if you want to email me, I'd love to hear from you. And yeah, like I think my goal, you know, my, my soul's purpose in this lifetime is to bring this way of healing mainstream. So as I said at the beginning of the call like this, you know, when I started doing this work it was niche, like people thought I was crazy. But now it's being becoming the foundation of true healing. And I feel like my responsibility in this human experience in this lifetime is to bring this way of healing mainstream. And I'm so, so, so passionate about it. And so yeah, like I think I'll just leave everyone with the reminder that your body is its own healer and has the capacity to heal from within if you give it the right conditions to heal. And I hope that I can help you realize that and come, come back home to yourself.
That's so beautiful. And I will also just add that even if the information that you shared is truth, there's another layer to you which is why I am so happy to have this conversation with you today, which is that I only want to work with so surround myself with people who have really pure intentions and really deep whys and people who are also self actualizing and care about those kinds of things. And so you're in such good hands if you, if you go to Megan because of that added thing, not just because she's so thorough, being a 5:1, if you know what that means in human design. Like he's obviously very thorough, very capable, you know, being a 5:1 generator, that's just how she is. And she writes books in whatever it is two weeks and it writes a whole book, but it's also the purity of your intentions and your genuine desire of why you do what you do is not from ego or to be this like famous health personality or anything like that. And I think that that's what everyone is gravitating towards now. So also, just thank you for being you.
Oh, thank you. And thank you for being you. I'm so grateful to have you in my life. And I'm so grateful, you know, that we had this conversation. It just was so perfect beyond words. So, again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can't wait for everyone to listen, more to come.
