How To Use Nano Banana AI (EASY GUIDE)

Nano Banana, excellent name. Now it's the best AI image generation tool that there is and it's not complicated at all. Today I'm going to show you how to find it, I'm going to show you how to use it. I'm then going to show you three different use cases for it. The first one being a reference image where we upload a background image and then a product or another image and we combine the two. We're then going to roll into holding products. So then we're looking at how businesses might want to have their front and product front and center of an image that's extremely hyper realistic and detailed. And then we're going to roll through clothing, a full human being from T shirt, jeans and boots. So I'm going to show you the power of nanobanana. It's not overwhelming, don't be concerned. Let's jump in. So there are two ways that you can find Nano Banana and I'm going to show them you both. Now the first one is you head to google.com, you click the Apps Google Apps button in the top right hand corner and you head to Gemini. And if you're a G Suite user with the correct permissions and whatever, you can go log in through there. That's fine. I'm going to do it the traditional way which is AI Studio, Google Gemini and then I'm going to hit Google AI Studio here and it's going to bring us into our LLM which, which is where Nana Banana lives. Google AI Studio. If you're prompted to create an account, it'. Free. Just create an account and join the fun. So with that comes a few choices. We can ignore 98% of the things on this screen. If you've got a sharp eye, you'll see that we've, you'll see that we've already been prompted to use Nano Banana here. Okay. So we can try Nano Banana by clicking this button and it will change you to Nano Banana if you weren't on it already. But something that's really important is you're probably going to be on the model like Gemini 2.5 flash when you, when you, when you join, join this. So what I want you to do is click top right and hit Nano Banana. And what we're going to do is the prompt that was already in there. We're going to hit run and we're going to hit run with creativity on one. And this gives you an idea of the power of Nano Banana because that's a banana in a costume, a pirate, right okay, but what we're going to do is I'm going to just press this little chat button top left to refresh. I'm going to lower the temperature down to zero. Don't worry about understanding temperature, but effectively it's just how creative the LLM model is. We want it at zero because we want it to be as close to what we tell it to be as possible. So I've lowered the temperature down to zero. Don't worry about top P and just select Nano Banana and that's it, we're good to go. Okay, now we're going to start with a reference image. And a reference image is where we provide it with a background and then we upload another image of a product, let's say for example, and we ask it to have, have that together. So I'm going to load this reference image in and that is here and it's of a wet country road and I'm going to ask it to, I'm going to add this tag watch to it and I'm going to say, please create me a hyper realistic image of this watch sat center screen with lightning bolts around it. The theme should be shot with a professional camera and it should be 3am with a full moon. And we're just going to hit run and we're going to see what we get back now because I've given it a prompt to the background. I don't know if it's going to keep the exact background, but it'll have an idea about the sort of background that we want it to be. So it'll be some sort of road. You can see the angle shot is from down there, so you can see how that happens. So it's given us the picture of the Aquatracer tag watch with lightning coming out of it. So it's given us exactly what we, what we asked it for with, with is hyper realistic. But what we're going to do is we're going to copy this from. Well, actually what I'm going to say is please move the watch further away and turn it at an angle facing left slightly and we hit run again. And this is going to give us a different version of that image but with hopefully with a slight angle on it and have the watch further away. You see it's moved it further back but not, not, not far enough back for my liking. So please move the watch much further away and have it floating just above the road. And now it should lift the product off of the road so you can see the road through. And then it should look. You can see and it's even added a shadow underneath it, like around the. Around the watch. So that's pretty cool. Pretty cool stuff. Now let's say, let's give it a prompt which is please, can you have the. What Please can you remove the lightning and have it coming from the sky instead of around the watch and have the watch on the wrist of a male. You should only be able to see his hand coming out of the ground holding the watch with a forest in the background. And we'll see how this manipulates the prompt and see what we get. See if we get it quality wise. I love the slight angle change it did. It made it how you would see professional imagery. I mean, look at this. The quality standard of that image is ridiculously frightening to say. We've just given it two sentences as a. A prompt. So it's not quite around his wrist. So we want it to be. Please ensure the watch doesn't encroach on the human hand. It should look realistic. Let's see if we. If that can fix it. If not, it's because of the prompting. And I will show you, if you like, how we would, how we would go about the prompting techniques to improve images like that. Yeah, you see, so it hasn't done it. Okay, so now what we're going to do is we're going to open another tab and we're going to go to Google AI Studio and inside of AI Studio we're going to switch to Gemini 2.5 flash. Okay. And I'm going to ask it. I'm going to upload both of these images and this is, this is good practice for you because this is going to give you an understanding. Please can you. Your a veteran Nano Banana image prompt generator that's hugely creative and focuses on highlighting the product. The product. Please create me a prompt for this watch to be on a man's wrist, but it's with an arm coming out of the ground. It's 3am In a forest. I'm going to remove this background image. It's 3am It's 3am in a forest and it should be dark and dreary. Now what we're doing here is we're getting an LLM to give us a professional prompt so that it's given us a few options and we're going to run them because this is very simple for you to do as well alongside me. So let's do this. I'm going to hit, I'm going to hit chat so it refreshes so that we've got a brand new chat. I'm going to lower the temperature again to avoid any hallucination and I'm going to upload the tag watch and I'm going to put in this prompt and we're going to see what results it gives us. Now that is exactly what we asked for, except for it's not coming out of the ground. Please can you make this watch come out of the ground. Let's see what that does. Be interesting. His hands coming out of the ground. You've got the background, the forest, it's moody, it's dark, the product is prominent, it's hyper realistic. The details of the hand, you can see hairs on the knuckles and everything. Incredible stuff. So that's the reference image, that's how you put an image front and center. You might have to tweak a few prompts to get you there, but that's how you do it. Now what we're going to do in the next phase is the hot like a holding of a holding of products. So we've done a similar thing there. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to bring in a bottle of prime and I'm going to paste in a prompt that I already had made which is a cinematic hyper detail macro shot. Effectively I've used AI to produce it. So it says the camera lens, it sets the scene which is how you get the best quality images possible. Messing around with it, giving it a couple of sentences is fine. Like you'll get, I've just proven it to you, it's why I started with that approach. But to get something of this, this ilk, which is extremely powerful, you're gonna wanna use tap into an LLM, an AI agents, non agent, an AI's brain, an LLM's brain in order to do so. I mean look at that. Like that is a marketing leading standard image, okay? That sets about from, from anybody, from anybody else. Now I've also got one more that I'm going to use from a Prime bottle. This one brings it from the ground or it should do anyway, very similar to the previous, previous prompt I gave it. But this time we should see it coming from the ground or it's going to hit a safety model. Let's try and run it again. And if that doesn't work we will hit a new chat and upload the image again. You will run into this, especially when you're making numerous prompts at a time, you will run into to that as an issue. But to Be honest with you, for the quality of imagery that we get for free, well, effectively for free is crazy because it's not that expensive to produce these images and you can produce full suites of them at scale. Now if we have a look at this one and we see the hand coming out the ground holding the prime bottle, it's prominent. The copy on the bottle is correct. And there's nothing as far as I can see, as far as I can see that it's correct. No. So you see it's, it's, it's hallucinated on the, on the text, which is something you do have to watch out for when using this tool. It's the only thing really that it does. It hallucinates text on him, on products and things that you upload. But to be honest, I mean the image that I gave it isn't fantastic. It's front and center. I mean it's pretty clear on that. You should, you'd expect it to get it from that really. But yeah, like you can, you can have that. But wow, like what an image. What a prominent image. Businesses used to pay hundreds, thousands for image suites. They can now get them at the drop of a hat. So we've done the holding of the images now and the final one now is to CL to clothe somebody. And what we're going to do is we're going to clothe. I've got the them ready. And we're going to start with a white T shirt. Okay. And we're going to start with prompts. Prompt one. And we're going to start with this. So candid three quarter shot of a man in his early 30s walking confidently along the paved pathway. You can see the, you can see the, the kind of text that copy that we're using. And this is going to give us this. So if that was your image, if that was your image from a, an E commerce perspective, you would have absolutely nothing to complain about. That is frighteningly powerful. Okay, so excellent. So now what we want to do is we want to upload another image and this image is going to be of genes. Please can you add these genes to the photo? The man in the photo. I'm going to put same photo just to make sure that it doesn't go anywhere. So he's going to have light blue jeans on now when this, when this changes. And then I'm going to have to ask the prompt. There you go. He's now wearing those lighter colored jeans as you can see. And the final thing is I'm, I want it to put the some Timberland boots on him. So I'm gonna say, please, can you pull the camera back so the man's feet are visible and add these shoes to him. Please be polite to robots because they're coming foreign. Let's see how far. Because the actual prompt said for it to be the way that it was by design. And what we want to do is we want to see this. It's pulled the camera back. It's changed the camera angle. The guy's now wearing Timberland boots. I don't know if I think that he's wearing a nice outfit there or not. I can't decide. But the power of Nana Banana is absolutely crazy when it comes down to the manipulation of images, it is so easy. This has been a beginner's guide to nano, banana and AI image generation.
