A college with no test or GPA requirements aims to broaden access to education, especially in tech and trades. The mission traces back to 1790, when Benjamin Franklin's will left £1,000 to Boston for public education.
And we are an access college, a broad access college, meaning we are test agnostic and we don't have a minimum gpa. Our goal is to really broaden access to education for as many folks as possible, in particular tech and trade education. And that's because our mission, our charter, dates to 1790, to the codicil of the will of Benjamin Franklin, who left what many people consider the first estate gift in the Americas. And it was £1,000 that he left to the city of Boston for two purposes.
