Chapters

This scar is the only proof that any of it really happened. And most people see a surgery. They don't see the, the 10-day coma, the catastrophic car accident, or the months where I couldn't walk, feed myself, or even open a door. For years, I hated looking at this scar because all I could see was what I'd lost. Then I realized something. This scar isn't proof of what broke. It's proof of what was rebuilt, who I've become. So I'm not showing it to you for sympathy. I'm showing it to remind you that whatever feels broken in your life today, it doesn't have to be the end of your story. The goal isn't to become the person you were before. No, it's to become the person you were forced to grow into. Who you're becoming.
