Hi, my name is Katrina Chavon, and I am here with Pilots to the Rescue. I am super honored that I teamed up with them, um, in a rescue mission. Today we rescued 13 dogs that we then brought to New Jersey where the Pennsylvania SPCA took them and going to find them new homes. I am an actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian. I do a lot of work with wildlife animal organizations and eco-friendly organizations as well. I love animals, I always have, and I think it's just a big part of who I am is to help in any way I can. I make films, I'm an actress, and that's part of just my passion in my career, but my biggest passion is helping out as many organizations as I can, and I feel very closely with animals and things with nature and wildlife. Yeah, today was an amazing experience. We, you know, we got— we started off in New Jersey, we flew all the way to Tennessee, and it was the most smoothest ride I've ever experienced. I was not expecting that. In fact, I thought it was going to be the opposite and a lot of it was going to be a lot of turbulence and bumpy from experiences in small planes before, but it was actually not that at all. We went up really high in altitude and it was completely smooth sailing. I enjoyed the ride and experience. Michael Schneider actually was able to educate me in a lot of the aircraft and about the organization itself. We had some great conversations and I learned a lot today. And then when we got down to Tennessee, it was really exciting. There was a newscast there waiting. To interview Michael Schneider Schneider about the organization and help us load the dogs. So I really— it's so nice to see that everyone coming together and working on something that's so important. So that really made it a lot exciting, made it very exciting today when we got there and they were all there ready to get involved and share the story. And then we met two women that were so kind. They drove like 24 hours all all the way overnight through Mississippi, all the way from Louisiana with all these dogs. So God bless them. And you know, they were really kind to do that. They brought all the dogs, we loaded them all up, and I could see how sweet all these dogs were. They weren't barking, like they were just so quiet. And I would say more like shy. A lot of them seemed very, if anything, if I could describe them, you know, just nervous and shy, but really kind and sweet dogs. So be sure, guys, to check out the organization on pilotsoftherescue.org. I also have the link in my bio on Instagram, so feel free to donate. Any amount is always welcomed. Uh, be sure to follow them on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, everywhere.
