In this brief, informal YouTube segment, the sole speaker greets viewers with an exuberant welcome to New York, mixing English and German phrases. The speaker expresses surprise at an unexpected situation, apologizes, and then abruptly announces the need to leave for a flight, citing a COVID-19 quarantine stay at a hotel. The farewell is playful and bilingual, ending with a promise to appear again the next morning.
