In this live‑stream, Michael Schneider of Pilots to the Rescue reports from Anson County Airport, North Carolina, where he and fellow volunteer pilot Greg Schneider are transporting six Guiding Eyes Service puppies to their future raisers. The puppies are split among three destinations: two to the Tampa area, three to Virginia, and one to Hagerstown, Maryland. Schneider explains that Guiding Eyes provides guide‑dog puppies free of charge to visually impaired individuals, and Pilots to the Rescue offers complimentary flights to reduce travel stress for both the volunteer raisers and the puppies. Throughout the broadcast, participants—including Sam, Diane, Megan, and the puppies themselves—share brief reactions to the flight, discuss their social‑media handles, and express enthusiasm for the mission. The stream concludes with a thank‑you to supporters, a request to share the video, donate, and purchase merchandise, emphasizing the broader impact of volunteer pilots in rescuing at‑risk animals.

Hi everyone, Michael Schneider here, Pilots to the Rescue. We're here in Anson County, North Carolina, Anson County Airport, and today we are transporting 6 Guiding Eyes puppies to their raisers. And we're very fortunate to have another pilot who came to meet us, Greg Schneider. He's going to bring 2 of the puppies down to the Tampa area, and then we have 3, 3 of the puppies going to Virginia, and 1 puppy we're going to fly into Hagerstown, Maryland. Guiding Eyes is a great organization. They provide, uh, guiding eye puppy— uh, guiding eye dogs free of charge to vision-impaired individuals. And, uh, we provide these flights free of charge to Guiding Eyes, uh, because it's much less stress on the volunteer raisers, uh, not having to drive all the way to New York and back, and less stress for the puppies as well. Um, so thank you for joining us. I'm sure you want to see the puppies. Enough about me. Let's switch the view here. We got a puppy pen going on here. Sam, how was the flight today?
It was really fun.
Sam, what's your social on, uh, Instagram?
It's Felix, um, but it's F-E-L-1-X-E.
Okay. And you had never been in a small plane before?
No, I actually have once because I went skydiving. Right, right. Yeah, yeah.
So this time time you didn't have to jump out of the plane.
No, that would be fun. Maybe next time.
Next time. And here we have Diane.
Hi! I think my hair's all messed up.
Diane, how was the flight?
Oh my gosh, it was amazing!
Nice to have all the puppies.
Oh my goodness, sit in your lap! This is Candy. She's a handful.
Yeah, she is.
But it's such a great organization, and these seeing eye dogs, our puppies, are gonna get to where they need to go, which is an amazing thing. They're gonna help a lot of people.
Yeah, absolutely. Great. And how do people find you on social media?
@foreveronthefly.
Forever on the fly.
Yep, forever on the fly.
Thank you for joining us today.
Now I hope I'm forever on the fly with puppies. There you go. Puppies aren't involved, I don't want it. Spoiled me.
And who do we have here? Do we know these guys here? Windthorpe and Angus. Windthorpe and Angus. You're— are you taking these guys? These are your two? Yeah, I believe so. All right, down near Tampa, right?
Yes.
Thanks for doing this, Greg. It's not often we have another pilot join us, so we really appreciate it. And here we have Megan. Hello, Megan! How was the flight today?
It was awesome. Awesome. So rewarding.
Who do you have here?
We have Blossom.
Blossom. Okay, Blossom's coming with us, back with us to Maryland.
Yes, she is. Yeah, she's a sweet girl.
So you enjoy the flight?
Absolutely.
It's a lot easier when you have a little puppy in your arms, right?
1000%.
Yeah, awesome. Great. All right, we'll keep this brief. So here's Greg's plane. Greg's gonna fly two of the puppies down, back down to Tampa. It's a Lance, similar version to our plane. And here we are. I want to thank you guys for supporting Pilots to the Rescue. Really appreciate it. We couldn't do these amazing transports and save— most of the time we're saving at-risk animals. So we really appreciate all your support. Please share this livestream, share our mission, donate if you can, buy our merch, and we'll see you next time. Thanks everyone.
