LIVE RESCUE: 16 puppies and a pregnant momma saved from Texas!

In this live‑stream, Michael Schneider of Top Dog Pilots to Rescue walks viewers through a recent rescue operation that brought 16 dogs from Texas to the Essex County Airport in New Jersey. Schneider thanks the 24‑hour road drivers, introduces sponsor Fi Dogs (who provided GPS collars, microchips, and bandanas), and is joined by Stacy, founder of Amazing Muttz Puppy Rescue. Together they present each dog, sharing individual backstories: Aria (recovered from severe mange), Toby (a 7‑month mixed terrier surrendered by owners), Sahara (a 2‑year‑old pregnant dog rescued from imminent euthanasia), a litter of “Famous Chefs” shepherd mixes, the “Planets” Australian Shepherd‑Heeler mixes, and Instagram‑famous pups Tinkerbell and Belle. They discuss health issues (heartworms, malnutrition), foster locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and the adoption application process via Amazing Muttz’s website. The segment also highlights donations from Sierra Romeo Aviation and Cedric Windsor, and encourages viewers to adopt, not shop. The tone is upbeat, conversational, and promotional, aiming to raise awareness, support, and adoptions for the rescued dogs.

Hi, it's Michael Schneider, Top Dog Pilots to Rescue. Another great mission. We saved 16 dogs from Texas. They all came from Texas. We flew into Knoxville, Tennessee again to meet the drivers who drove through the night, 24 hours. As usual, I call the drivers the road heroes because I can fly 6 to 8 hours, but I don't know if I could drive 24 hours through the night. So I'm really hats off to those ladies. And we're here at Essex County, our home base airport. And thanks everyone for joining. I recognize a few people here. And let's go check out the pups. Today's rescue is sponsored by Fi Dogs. Fi Dogs has amazing GPS collars. I have one myself. I suggest you check them out if you're worried about your dog getting lost or you want to track your dog's steps or how it's sleeping. Check out Fi Dogs and thanks for their sponsorship today. Let's go. Go and check out who we have here. But before we do that, I wanted to, uh, get the— can you guys talk from Amazing Muttz? Can I have your name?
Hi, I'm Stacy. I'm the founder of Amazing Muttz.
All right, can you talk a little bit about, uh, the dogs that we rescued today?
Sure. Um, okay, so this is Aria. She came out of— I believe she was Orange, Texas, which is on the South East side of Texas, um, right before you get to Louisiana. Um, Aria had Demodex mange and she recovered very well. Her photos are on our, on our Facebook page from before and after. She had like no skin, like no like fur on her, on her, on her face. Um, and she recovered thanks to Be Intentional, which is one of our partners down there in Texas. And here she is in New Jersey.
Awesome.
You want to talk about This one, Toby, was an owner surrender out of Houston, Texas. Um, uh, he was rescued by the couple that had him and they wanted him to have a better, a better life. So here he is in New Jersey. He's a little, uh, 7, I think 7 months old, mixed terrier.
7 months mixed terrier.
Yep.
Beautiful. Really looks gentle.
Yes.
Yeah, great. And most of the dogs that we rescue from Texas, they were owner surrender or strays?
Um, some are from the shelters, like Sahara over here. Uh, Sahara is a pregnant dog, she's about 2 years old.
Hi Sahara!
Was in Bishop, uh, County, I believe, which is down a little bit ways near Corpus Christi. Um, and she had a euthanized date set for Tuesday, so if we didn't her on Monday, she would have been euthanized on Tuesday.
Wow, a pregnant dog that would have been euthanized on Tuesday had we not rescued her. That's just amazing. I know she's gonna have a healthy litter.
She's about 3 weeks pregnant, they said.
3 weeks? Okay, so it's early.
Yep. Wow, that's about 4 and a half weeks left.
And all the dogs today are getting collars from Five Dogs donated.
That's awesome.
Oh, microchips and bandanas from Five Dogs. Here we have Jackson. Jackson came with us. Say hi. Hello Jackson. Hello Jackson. Um, she just, she just sat on my lap for the last 4 hours. Um, and I love her. So yeah, and Jackson was a pretzel back there. He's 6'5". Yeah, we made it work. Yeah, we made it work.
Sahara has a home.
Yeah, I don't know, just might, honestly. All right, well, let's check out the other dogs we rescued here today. Do you know any backstory on these?
Um, I know pretty much all of it.
All right, well, good thing for you. Okay, how about this, guys? This a little—
these are our famous shepherd. They came out of shelter mutt down in Corpus Christi. Um, they have a mama, she's actually being treated for heartworms, and she'll be up when she's ready. There are 6 of them. They're named after the chefs, of course. Um, so I believe there's Guy, Gordon, Emilio. Emerald. No, Emerald. Emerald, right? And then Julia and Paula, right? Paula, yeah.
Okay, and we got this— what's this one's name?
That is October.
October.
She had a little bit of an—
all right, well, we won't get that in there.
Yeah, um, she is a red lab hound mix.
Okay.
Um, she— I believe she is about 12 12 or 13 weeks old.
Awesome. And these are the Planets. And those are our Planets.
Oh, this world for sure. Um, they were owner surrender out of, um, I want to say Beaumont area in Texas.
Owner surrender. Okay, so they surrender.
So the, the owners kept them, um, pretty healthy for the, you know, for the 10 weeks that they had them, or I want to say probably 9 weeks that they had them. Um, however, they were feeding adult food and they were a little bit on the malnourished side, very, very scared, shy, didn't have any socialization. Um, they went with Kat K. Miller out of KK's Kennels, and in the, in the, in the last week they have made a remarkable recovery.
Awesome, awesome. Uh, Sierra Romeo Aviation, Cedric Windsor, thanks for your donations, really appreciate it. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Great.
And I see Stephanie. Hi Stephanie. Hi Rue Blue Hen. Yes, Sahara is great. 53 Lolo, I thought— I hope your screen is unfrozen. Slyn Higgs, thank you. Thank you, Mrs. Vaccaro, I appreciate it. We appreciate it, Cedric. There, they are beautiful. Just reading through the comments, guys. I do see your comments. If you have any questions, I feel free to ask in the comment section. And, uh, yes, Sierra, support the cause. Planes and puppies, that's right. Cedric, thank you. What mix are the planets?
Uh, they are Australian Shepherd and Heeler, I believe.
Australian Shepherd and Heeler, Mrs. Vaccaro.
Yeah.
Can we get these guys on the live real quick? Tinkerbell and Belle, right? Did I get that right? Tinkerbell and Belle?
Yes.
These guys are Instagram sensations. We're so appreciative that they came down to take photos and spread the word about our cause. What's the handle on Instagram?
Tinkerbell the dog.
Tinkerbell the dog. I saw, uh, he's— is it a he? 2 girls. 2 girls. Okay. I've seen they've kissed some very famous people.
Absolutely.
Ariana Grande. Who are some of the others?
Taylor Swift, Lizzo. Wow. Kevin Jonas.
Wow. Very long list, right? And soon Top Dog.
Yes, Top Dog.
Soon they're gonna kiss Top Dog. Let's get a little kiss. We'll get a picture of that. Thank you for coming out, guys.
Thank you. Yeah, they're so excited.
That's awesome.
Amazing pup.
It is great to have these dogs here and support our cause. They have half a million followers on Instagram, and that means the world that they would come out here and support us. They are adorable, obviously. All right, one last look at the pups, then we're going to sign off. We have a lot to do here at the airport. Here's the Planets, uh, Australian Shepherd-Heeler mixes. Here's these guys. These are the Famous Chefs. This one is October. Are these more chefs? More chefs. Okay, and are these, um, talk about— I'm gonna sign off soon. These are all available to be adopted by Amazing Muttz. Yeah, is it Amazing Muttz?
It's Amazing Muttz Puppy Rescue.
Amazing Muttz Puppy Rescue. Yes. Are any of them spoken for yet?
Um, we have interest, but they're not promised to anybody as of yet.
So they just go to your website, they fill out an application, and we choose the best fit for that puppy. And where are you located?
We are foster-based, but the home office in Cream Ridge, but we're all over Pennsylvania, New Jersey.
Awesome, thank you, that's great. All right, I think we covered it all, guys. Thanks again, and, uh, we'll see you at the next rescue. Appreciate everybody's support, and thanks again to Sierra Romeo Aviation and Cedric Windsor for their donations. Remember, adopt, don't shop. Michael Schneider signing off.
Michael Schneider.
