Live Rescue: 4 Senior dogs & 1 cat

In this live‑streamed rescue, Michael Schneider of Top Dog Pilots to Rescue transports four senior female dogs and a large male cat from a hoarding/abandonment situation in Knoxville, Tennessee to the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter in New Jersey. The broadcast features influencers Abby Luke and Danae Christine, who share their social‑media handles and describe the flight experience. Schneider introduces each animal—Old Girl (10‑year‑old dog), Emery Lou, Mia, Nicole, and Douglas the cat—detailing ages, behaviors, and health quirks (e.g., motion sickness, camera shyness). He repeatedly emphasizes the importance of adopting senior pets, provides the shelter’s website and phone number, and promotes a fundraising contest: anyone who creates a Facebook or Instagram fundraiser for Pilots to Rescue can win a chance to fly with Schneider on a future rescue mission (one random fundraiser and the top‑earning fundraiser on Thanksgiving Day). Throughout, he urges viewers to share the stream, purchase merchandise, and consider adoption, while thanking participants and staff. The tone is conversational, enthusiastic, and promotional, aiming to raise awareness, donations, and adoptions for senior animals.

Michael Schneider, Top Dog Pilots to Rescue, once again did another rescue to Knoxville, Downtown Island, Knoxville, Tennessee. Only 5, 5 animals today, uh, 4 dogs and 1 cat. It's for a special project that we'll announce shortly, but we do have some senior animals with us today. Senior animals, so important to adopt, uh, because obviously everybody wants a puppy But you can't forget our seniors, and these animals are the sweetest. We have hoarding situations, we have animals that were abandoned that people didn't want anymore, but it's 4 female dogs and 1 male cat, a very large cat at that. Hi, Alina. Hi, Bonnie. Looks like Cheryl's on. Brielle, hi, Brielle. Thanks for joining us. Once again, I want to remind everybody that we are doing a promotion. If you do a Facebook or Instagram fundraiser. We're going to pick a random fundraiser, and the fundraiser that earns the most, and you can fly with me, Top Dog, on one of these rescue missions. So let's see what's— what we have going on today. So these animals can be adopted from Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter. A lot of times people ask, where can you adopt the animals? There's the phone number, there's the website. What's going on, New York City Pilot Dad? Like to know what you fly. All right, let's see. So today we had some influencers with us. Today we have Abby Luke and Danae Christine. So Abby, how was the flight? And first of all, tell people your handles.
Uh, I'm @justablue on all social media platforms. Um, the flight was so freaking fun. Being in a small plane like this is such a unique experience that I feel like not a lot of people get to have. So I'm very blessed that you brought me along, and thank you so much for doing that. And thanks, Danae, for inviting me, because I you two have been talking about. You were the first one I called. I know, I was so excited. Um, yeah, I really appreciate it. And it was like getting to see these animals and like save them and know that they're going to a better place is like so insane. And I'm just so honored to be here, and I want to do it again if you'll have me.
Great. Yeah, we'll definitely talk about that.
Do it in public so you can't say no.
Oh, okay.
Yes.
And Danae, your handle?
Uh, I'm Danae Christine, D-A-N-A-E and Christine with a K. And the flight was as amazing as I expected. We got a camera down, we have a dog running away. Oh my God, this little one was so nervous.
Oh, this is, this, this is Old Girl.
This is Old Girl, but she made— she vomited a couple times, but we made it through.
You know, she had some motion sickness.
Old Girl is 10, I believe. Yeah, she's really a sweetie though.
You're so nervous, but you're gonna be in a good home soon.
Yeah, I think Old Girl doesn't like the camera. She's camera shy. Yeah, yeah.
Okay, you're so good.
And this guy, this gal over here— they're all gals, the dogs.
Yeah, they are.
I forget her name, if it's Ellery Emery.
I'm not— I don't quite remember. Yeah, but she was so sweet. She slept like basically on my lap the whole time, like she had her head like on my leg or foot the whole time. She was so brave. They were all so brave. I can't imagine what they would be thinking going through that.
Oh, you're so sweet.
It's okay.
Such a loud noise. It was so loud.
Yeah, yeah. And we have a couple more coming out of here. This is the— this is the cat Douglas. Douglas. Douglas is a big cat, I think 15 pounds.
Yeah, big boy.
He's a Hey boy.
Yeah, yeah.
And underneath is Mia.
Mia. All right, so let's get the people from Mount Pleasant out here to, um, get them out. Yeah, you want to get— you can tell them to come. Bye. So while the people from Mount Pleasant are coming out of the van to get the other animals, uh, thank you everybody for your support, for supporting Pilots to the Rescue. Everything helps. If you cannot donate There are other ways you can participate. If you go to our website, pilotsarescue.org, we have wonderful merchandise that you can purchase. You can share this live stream. That's really important to share this live stream and let people know the work that we do. You guys want to take the, uh, other animals? You're welcome to. Now, um, we also have paperwork inside the plane. I do not want to forget that. So after we finish this live, we'll, uh We'll get that for you.
Oh, sweet baby.
Yes, this is Mia, we think.
Emery.
Emery Lou.
Emery.
That was Emery Lou.
Emery Lou. It's like a very diva name.
Oh, okay.
Mia's in there.

Such a sweetie. This is a big girl. Just watch out, there's a camera there.
So sweet.
Hey, hold on, I just want to see your face. Very excited.
Hi.
Hi.
Oh, this is Mia, you said?
Yeah. Yes.
Beautiful. That's old girl, right? Yeah.
Yeah.
Do we know the ages of— I know old girl's 10.
She's a little over 5.
5. Is she pregnant?
I hope not.
Oh, okay.
Looks like she just had babies.
Just had babies.
Okay.
Hi, Mia. Very excited. You're welcome, Nikki. Thanks for reminding people of the fundraiser, Brielle. All right, Mia, thanks for coming. Thanks for flying.
There you go.
Old girl is, uh, I think she's elated to be on the ground.
Oh, so happy. Yeah, she's not a flyer, but she did it. She's so brave.
And who's this?
This is Nicole.
Oh, Nicole, she darted out. She's a hard-worn positive. Hard-worn positive.
Sure, you want to do the red leash?
Yeah.
A big kid, big kid asks where the rescues are. It's Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter. It's newjerseyshelter.org. Phone number: 973-386-0590. I'll show you the van once again. You're welcome, Erin. Here you go. Once again, that's where you adopt the animals. Hi, Pet Loss. Hi, Minute with Milo. Welcome.
This is so good. Good. This is Nicole.
Nicole, sweet girl. Uh, I need to get a walking—
she's mine now. I took— I'm taking her.
Yeah, Ken's mine. Can you use the puppy? Bonnie, sounds like you have a wonderful dog, Henry. Also ginger and cream. Okay.
Yeah, no, yeah, these are all like older dogs, 5 and up.
Okay, can't forget our seniors, right?
They're geriatric at 5 years old.
Yeah, I never— I didn't know that you considered him a 5. Yeah, right.
Douglas.
And this is our Douglas cat, or male, male cat. 15 lbs, I think, right?
Big boy, big boy.
Well, we're not going to take him out of the crate. You could just take the crate unless you— you brought one? Oh, just transfer then.
Yeah, last time we did that.
Okay, that's fine.
Do you want to take it with you to the van?
Yeah, we'll So it doesn't— we're going to go, we're going to go! Where's this baby? Come on, come on, follow the squeaky! Come on, follow the squeaky!
The squeaky toy! We're having fun here, having lots of fun. Hi, JN Kissling! Hi, Ramsey! Hi, Jessamine! Getting some, uh, influencer shots.
Plane.
So it was a small load, but it was well worth it. We had very turbulent and bumpy conditions coming back into Essex County Airport here. Please share the live stream. Thank you, Jane Kissling. Jessica, thank you. Jessica's new to our team. Appreciate you reminding everybody. Don't forget, we have a fundraising contest. Very simple. To start a fundraiser on Facebook or Instagram. Pick Pilots to Rescue as the charity that benefits. We will be selecting one random fundraiser and one fundraiser that raises the most money on Thanksgiving Day. We'll be selecting those two people, and you can come with me, Top Dog, and fly one of these missions. Please share this stream. Please adopt, don't shop. And I appreciate everybody joining this live stream and supporting us. We couldn't do this without you. One last look at what's going on and we'll sign off. What we're going to do, since this might be a little difficult, is the plane serving us well. We try to create some great content. Micah's here. So what I'm going to have you guys do, you guys are going to be blocking. Thanks, Minute with Milo. All right, that's it, guys. Thank you. Signing off. We got another rescue this Saturday, so we'll see you then, probably on Facebook.
Bye.
Bye.
