In this livestream, host Michael Schneider, together with shelter representative Jenny, pilot Fiona, and other volunteers, documents a rescue operation that air‑lifted eight dogs from Friends of Grenada Animal Shelter in Grenada, Mississippi to Asheville, North Carolina. The segment opens with Michael describing a 4‑hour‑20‑minute flight plagued by strong headwinds and turbulence, noting the assistance of a co‑pilot with airline experience. The shelter is undergoing a management transition, leading to an influx of puppies and a need to clear space. The team introduces each rescued dog—Topper, Magic, Snow, Canyon, Billy, Bobby, Duke, and Nova—detailing brief background notes such as injuries or cramped lifelong confinement. Partnerships with the Bissell Pet Foundation, Wag On In, and Lucky Dog Rescue enabled the transport, while the livestream promotes adoption links in the comments. Michael reiterates the organization’s goal of rescuing 1,000 animals this year, urges viewers to support via merchandise purchases, sharing, or donations, and announces an upcoming appearance on the Puppy Bowl featuring photographer Elias Friedman. Future rescue plans include a rescheduled mission with New Chance Animal Rescue, again moving eight dogs to Wag On In and Lucky Dog Rescue. The tone remains conversational and enthusiastic, emphasizing community involvement and the logistical challenges of animal rescue flights.

Jenny, this is the third rescue we're doing with you to clear out this shelter, right?
Yes, that's right.
And what, what's the issue with the shelter? They're changing management?
Yeah, it's, it's changing hands.
Um, the manager that's there now is getting ready to, um, change positions, so they're going to bring somebody new in and we're just trying to maybe start fresh.
Gotcha. So any dogs left?
Um, yeah, we still have, um, I think we have 6 or 7 left. They come in every day. I mean, yesterday we had 6 puppies on the doorstep waiting when I got to the shelter, so 6 little 5-week-old puppies. So I've gotten 40— I've got 45 puppies this week.
Wow, this week. So there's no limit to the amount of rescues we can do with you? No, flights.
I'm going again. Um, I've got my friend, uh, Marilyn.
Hey Marilyn!
She's going to take a transport for me next week cuz my son's getting married.
So congratulations. And we have pilot Fiona here. Pilot Fiona, tell everybody a little bit about yourself. It's very windy today.
Yeah, um, my name's Fiona. I've been flying for 3 years now. I'm 27 years old. I did general aviation get all my licenses, and I own an airline, and I'm just happy that the aviation community exists so we can do, you know, rescues like this and get together and for a greater cause altogether.
So yeah, awesome. A little bumpy today, little bumpy coming in.
I don't love turbulence, but we, we managed. And hopefully on the way back, this tailwind, as you can see, will hopefully get us back a little bit sooner and less, less time in the bumps. Awesome.
Oh, your water, runaway water. Okay, all right.
I have a puppy on my lap, so hopefully that helps with I was stressed about the emotional support.
That's right, that's right. But my flying wasn't half bad, right? I didn't scare you? No.
Good.
Awesome. Great. All right, Jenny, why don't we see these dogs? And Fiona, you can get in there too.
All right, so we have— this is Topper.
Topper.
He had an injury last night.
Wow.
I see. Our camp was falling apart. Okay, he looks really excited. Yes, stopper.
Good boy.
Yeah. And then this is Magic.
Magic.
These two actually lived their whole lives in a crate smaller than this, um, smaller than that crate actually. Oh wow. Um, yeah, she, she couldn't lift her head. But, um, and then we've got, uh, Snow and Canyon.
Snow and Canyon.
Yes.
Oh, it's adorable.
Oh, oh my goodness. And then we've got Billy and Bobby right here.
Billy and Bobby.
And June back here.
Duke.
That's Duke.
And then we've got Nova over there.
Nova. Okay, we'll go around the back for Nova. They look great.
Yeah, they are awesome. Excited for their first plane ride.
All right, let's go in the back and see Nova. Okay, this is Duke. My wife had a dog named Duke.
German Shepherd, Gold Dog, or—
let's see it.
So I've been calling him, uh, um, you see the German?
Yeah, the shepherd ears.
Yeah, he's so cute.
Yeah, and that's Nova.
He's got a bobtail too.
Is Nova like a German Shorthaired Pointer crossed with something?
She's got like maybe some Heeler and Lab, I think.
Big.
Yeah, she's a big— maybe a big waffle too.
Hey, now.
Yeah, she's just— you look like a blue Heeler mix. Yeah, she's a male.
They're so windy today. Awesome. That's great.
That's great. Awesome.
