LIVE RESCUE: PTTR & Cuddly Save 11 Dogs

In this livestream, Michael Schneider, founder of Pilots to Rescue, documents a rescue mission that flew 11 dogs from Moore County/Southern Pines, North Carolina to the foster‑based A New Chance Animal Rescue in Westchester County, New York. The mission is sponsored by the animal‑care platform Cuddly, represented by Bridget, and includes participation from influencers (Jenny Mila, Mira Sur) and volunteers (Vanessa, Mark). The stream showcases the dogs, a puppy reveal, discussion of foster processes, and gratitude toward volunteers and sponsors. Schneider also mentions recent similar rescues, the logistical challenge of fitting all crates on a plane, and a fundraising campaign to purchase a Cessna Caravan with a goal of rescuing 1,000 animals in the year. The tone is conversational and enthusiastic, emphasizing community collaboration, animal welfare, and future rescue plans.

Hi everyone, Michael Schneider here, Top Dog Pilots to Rescue, back from North Carolina with 11 dogs for A New Chance Animal Rescue, and we're going to invite our sponsor for this mission, We Love Cuddly, to join us. I don't see them on the— there they are.
Okay.
So we have 11 today for New Chance Animal Rescue from Moore County in North Carolina. And looks like Cuddly just joined. So we're waiting for— while we're waiting for them to join, let me show you the pups real quick. They've had a long journey. Let me see, one second. Accept. Okay, here comes Cuddly. We Love Cuddlies unable to join. I don't know what's going on here, so we'll just keep the, uh, Queen Cobra, you can rescue the dogs from A New Chance Animal Rescue. Oh, there you are!
Hi!
All right, you made it!
Yes, you made it!
Yeah, we made it. Thanks for joining, Bridget.
Yeah, it's so dark over there.
Oh, it is, it is. It is dark here, here on the East Coast. So Bridget, this is the 11 dogs we rescued today from Moore County Southern Pines, and they're going to A New Chance Animal Rescue. It's a foster-based group that we've been working with for many years, Westchester County, New York. And these are some great pups that we have here. Do you have any questions? Let me show my face here. I just realized you're looking.
Well, we love looking at the dogs.
Oh yeah, it's more about the dogs. But just so you know, there's a pilot who, you know, flew these dogs here, and we really appreciate all your support. Cuddly is a great platform. Since we invited you to this interview, why don't you tell tell all our Instagram followers what Cuddly is?
Yes, so we work with— I think you have someone landing right behind you.
Yeah, that was a jet that just landed.
So we work with over 3,000 animal rescue groups, specifically to help the animals in their care. So a lot of them need medical care, have injuries, or come from abuse and neglect. But we also have a group of people who just can't decide, right? It's so hard to choose an animal to help. So that's our Cuddly Club, and they're the amazing monthly donors who are helping to sponsor this flight. They love the work that you do. Could you maybe, for anyone from our side that's joining, can you touch on where you've just come from and who you have with you?
Yeah, sure, absolutely. We came from Moore County Airport and Southern Pines Airport in North Carolina. It's about a 3-hour-ish flight, and we rescued these 11 dogs today. And we do have some influencers that came with us. Here is Jenny Mila. Right, you go by Jenny Mila. How was the flight?
It was awesome, actually. The sky was beautiful. Dogs were great.
Can you hear her, Bridget, because I have my airpods?
Yes. Okay, good. Oh yeah, I can hear her.
Yes.
Yeah, um, flight was awesome. I was a little nervous, but it was a wonderful flight. It was easy. The dogs are wonderful. They're all beautiful.
Yeah, and we also have Mira here. How do you pronounce your last name?
Sur.
Sur. Mira Sur, all the way from Israel.
Yes. Oh my gosh, I'll be all over the map, but all over the map now, which is I'm super excited about. This is such a great mission. I mean, I'm so proud of you and your organization. Thank you for letting me be part of it. Yeah, I want to see them finding the right home.
Now, Mira, when I visited Israel, I seem to remember that you just let the stray dogs and cats kind of roam the street, which I wish they did here. Am I right?
Israel is, you know, people are very friendly and it's very community, so we take care of them.
Animals, you know?
Yeah. And the weather is nice, so it's not the same, you know, it's not like here.
Yeah, awesome. Well, thank you for—
I'm hungry, that's for sure.
Yeah, thank you for joining us today.
Of course.
Do you guys want to say hello or not?
Sure, let's say hi.
Okay, and Bridget, we also have Vanessa and Mark, wonderful volunteers with A New Chance Animal Rescue. I'm sure you've also fostered too, right?
We have fostered and we have done these transports. Hey, dude.
There's actually a person there. That's Bridget from Cuddly.
So we so appreciate what you guys do. I'm in awe every time we do one of these plane transports. It's amazing. Absolutely amazing.
Now, do you guys have any foster fail stories?
Of course we do!
We have two dogs and our little Helen is a foster fail. It's the best thing I've ever failed at. Yeah, she's wonderful. Yeah.
Great.
Oh my gosh. Well, yes, thank you for the work you do. It's really amazing. I know they can't hear me.
She said thank you, all of you, for the work that you do to support our mission.
So yeah, it's so amazing because looking at some of these dogs too, it's like a lot of them are really highly adoptable dogs, right? Like, these are like real cuties.
They were amazing. Adopted quick, very much. They're beautiful dogs. They were perfect passengers, and, uh, I really enjoyed this flight because they just— they were very cooperative. We didn't have any problems loading them. And they're just great pups. I know that they're gonna find loving homes and they're gonna be loyal companions. And we have some, we have some amazing little puppies in here we could probably pull out. I know everybody wants to see the puppies, so maybe we should do that now. What do you think, Bridget?
Oh my gosh, please!
Do you guys want to pull off some of the puppies? Why don't we do that? I mean, I feel like I'm keeping the surprise, you know. They're all down here. There's I know there's like 3 of them. They're adorable. Uh, you need a slip leash. Oh, you got one. All right, so here's a puppy reveal. Let's see who's coming out.
Look at— they're so excited.
Yeah, they're very excited in there. They want to come out. You want to pull them out? Just be careful when you open that door that they don't all come running out. You know how that is. Yeah, yeah, exactly. One at a time, one at a time. We don't want— we don't want to be running around the airport chasing puppies.
They're all done with flying for the day. They are exhausted. They're like, let me out of here.
Yeah, but we've had— Bridget, we did a rescue, uh, yesterday where with Bissell Pet Foundation and the animals came from Mississippi. So there's an amazing woman that drove through the night to meet us in North Carolina. Those animals went on even a further journey than these guys.
Oh my gosh.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Volunteers are amazing in the work that we do.
Well, that's so incredible too, because can you imagine having to make that whole drive? And like, you've saved so much time and so much stress for these animals by letting them hop a ride on your plane.
Absolutely, and relieving these amazing volunteers who are driving, the road heroes, they get a little bit of a relief and it saves them like a day of driving. Look at this, this guy is so cute. I know it's very dark.
Oh my gosh, no, so cute.
Let's bring him into the light, Mark.
Sheepdog.
Yeah, I think it is kind of a sheepdog, right? It's a little, little, uh, border collie? Okay.
Oh my gosh, so fluffy though.
Yeah, you got to coax them out a little bit, you know. They're— this is all so new for them. Big paws on this one though.
Oh my gosh, such like a little baby.
Yeah, he's cute. Oh, here comes another one. They're all coming out.
Oh my gosh.
Oh, there's 3 of them in there.
So I'm not sure if this is a question for a new animal rescue, but are all of these headed into like a shelter environment? Do they have fosters waiting for them?
So it's a New Chance Animal Rescue. A New Chance. Yep. Westchester County. We'll tag them in this livestream. And I don't know if they're all spoken for in terms of foster families. I'm sure these guys are, but— If you reach out to them and mention you saw a livestream with Pilots to Rescue, I'm sure it'll help your chances of adopting. Are all these guys spoken for in terms of fosters?
I'm—
I don't know the answer. Okay, got it. Well, they're adorable.
So cute. Oh my gosh.
And Bridget, some of these crates, I believe these wire crates came from one of your campaigns. If not, possibly this one.
Oh yeah.
We really appreciate all the Cuddly Pilots to Rescue supporters helping us get these much-needed supplies, as we, we use all these supplies.
Oh my gosh, so amazing. So, so I know a lot of people are gonna be reaching out probably to you to adopt some of these animals. So can you repeat the rescue's name? A New Chance Animal Rescue, right?
A New Chance Animal Rescue. They're out of Westchester County, New York. What's the website, do you know?
A New Chance AR.org.
A New Chance AR as in animal rescue. A New Chance AR.org. Foster-based group. All right, guys.
Oh my gosh, they're like ready to play and it's like, it's 5 o'clock there, right? No, it's 6 o'clock now. Oh my gosh, so you guys have had a long day. A long day, yeah.
They are long days. I'm sure Jenny and Mira want to take some pictures of the puppies. You guys want to pick them up and like take turns with the cameras kind of thing? Whatever you like, go for it. Got to make sure Mira and Jenny get the content they need to create their reels and their posts and all that.
And well, they earned it. I mean, they, they took the flight today.
Great sweatshirt, thank you.
I know, we're twins.
Oh yeah, look at that.
Oh my gosh. Well, thank you so much for giving us a little inside look to all of this. It's so fun to see the amazing work that you do. And I know it's late there for you, so we'll let you take your photos and enjoy the final end of your flight. Thank you.
You're welcome. Thank you, Bridget, for all your support. Really appreciate it and love the partnership with you guys, so hope we can keep it going.
Absolutely. All right, well, we'll see you soon.
Bye.
Thank you. Bye. All right, see ya. All right everyone, thank you for everything, for supporting us. Uh, thank you Cuddly and, uh, Protect All Animal Rights. Where is this? We're at Essex County Airport in Fairfield, New Jersey. There's so many comments I missed. So I want to scroll through them real quick because— oh, there's, there's way too many. So we're going to go through the comments after the live stream and make sure that you get the answer that you need. I so appreciate all of you guys coming on. Please continue to support Pilots to Rescue and our missions. We did 3 this week. So I need a beer or bourbon when I get home. And really appreciate everybody that came on to see us. I'm always amazed how we could fit all these crates on the plane, but we did it. 11 dogs, we fit them all on the plane. We are trying to raise money to buy a Cessna Caravan, so we really appreciate all your support, and we'll see you next week. Believe it or not, we have 3 more scheduled for next week, so we're on our way to our goal of saving 1,000 animals this year. See ya!
