Hi, my name is Sasha. I'm from Jersey. I'm a full-time makeup artist and also in direct sales. I love creativity. I'm an animal lover. I am super passionate about saving the world, our ecosystem, our marine life, our wildlife, our stray animals. Anything I can do to help make— it sounds so cliché, but make this world a better place because, you know, it has to start with us. So today was so exciting. We were rescuing 12 cats. We flew to Virginia and then picked up the cats and then went to New Hampshire and dropped them off. It was an experience to say the least. Seeing all those beautiful babies and knowing that they're going to go to happy homes makes me so happy. It was great. I don't know, it was amazing. I wish I could do this every day. I would love to do this every day. If I could adopt more animals, I would. I really would because I think saving animals is so much more important than than buying them.
Hi, my name is Drea. I am a school counselor and single mother from Derry, New Hampshire. Huge animal lover. I've always had a passion for animals. The adopters had backed out. I ended up adopting the cat, and then it wasn't until then that I realized there was a huge need down south for rescue and kind of intervening and supporting North Carolina and South Carolina. You know, roughly 2 of the shelters alone are— they are ranked, I believe, number 3 for high kill shelter in the country. Successfully adopt out 64 animals. 62 of them were cats and 2 were dogs. It's so great to be able to work with Pilots to the Rescue, incredible heroes that are supporting the same cause, volunteering their time that they have to help these animals. I'm so happy that they were able to to bring all these kittens to New Hampshire where they can be safely adopted. Check out their site, Pilots to the Rescue, and support them as they have been supporting us.
