Thousands of Animals Rescued and We're Still Going! ✈️🐾 #adoptdontshop #animalrescue

If you've ever seen a cat in a cockpit while scrolling Instagram, you might have come across Pilots to the Rescue, an incredible charity saving animals one flight at a time. Pilots to the Rescue is a network of volunteer pilots flying across the USA to rescue animals from overcrowded shelters. Without them, many of these animals would face euthanasia simply due to a lack of space. The organization, founded by Michael "Top Dog" Schneider, has been operating since 2015, transporting thousands of animals to safety. Their first mission was saving a litter of puppies from euthanasia. Since then, Pilots to the Rescue has completed over 277 successful missions, covering more than 300,000 miles and saving 3,602 souls. This work is made possible by dedicated pilots who volunteer their time and resources to help out. The organization's one plane and two ground vehicles allow them to extend their reach, but every flight comes at a cost. Pilots to the Rescue thrives on the generosity of donors and sponsors. Every contribution helps them to continue their life-saving missions. Want to be part of the rescue? Support Pilots to the Rescue by visiting pilotstorescue.org or following them on Instagram, because every life deserves a second chance.
