Michael Schneider describes Top Dog's 13th rescue mission, pulling 13 dogs from Louisiana and flying them to Pennsylvania. The organization has rescued over 200 animals total, including a recent red wolf rescue.
Well, now we just did— today we did our 13th mission, rescued over 200 animals, mostly dogs and cats. We did do one red wolf last week, and the mission we did today, we rescued 13 dogs from Knoxville, Tennessee, and 2 ladies drove the dogs from Louisiana, so that's where they originated, 24 hours. And then we flew 8 hours round trip from Knoxville, Tennessee back here, and they're picked up by Pennsylvania SPCA and the Mainline Animal Rescue. That's how you do it.
That's awesome. So how many dogs in total this— or animals in total this month?
This month? Well, we just— what is it? The month just started, so—
And we just got the plane back.
So we have about 13 today and the wolf last week. Is last week still May? Yep. Yep. Yeah, so just 14.
