Michael Schneider from Pilots to Rescue flew eleven rescue dogs from New Jersey to North Carolina. Fitting all the crates into the aircraft was like playing Tetris, but getting more animals on board in one trip makes the rescue work more efficient.
How you doing? I'm Michael Schneider with Pilots to Rescue. We flew down here from New Jersey. We're here at Rocky Mount, North Carolina, picking up 11 dogs today. So besides flying, it's very much like a game of Tetris, figuring out how many crates and dogs we can get in. These are very much life-saving flights, so the more we can get in, the better. We got 2 up here, 3 down here, 1 guy here, 1 guy here, and the rest will go in the back.
