A volunteer pilot flew four rescued dogs from the United States to Georgia with Pilots to the Rescue. The plane climbed to 16,000 feet requiring supplemental oxygen, and on the return flight the pilot sat in back with the dogs, three in kennels and one beside him, experiencing their sweet, trusting behavior.

Come fly with me and Pilots to the Rescue to go save a couple of hounds from Georgia. So we got up really early and pre-flighted the airplane, and I even got the opportunity to pull the plane out of the hangar with the tug. I've never had to use a tug before, but then again, the planes that I normally fly are much smaller and lighter, so I can do it on my own. We popped up to like 16,000 feet, so we had to use some oxygen for this flight, but it was super fun to get to sit right seat on the way out there. And once we got to Georgia, we loaded up our really precious cargo. We had one little guy here that was like really excited to get in the plane, which I thought was cool. It was really sweet to see how trusting and sweet the pups were. I sat in the back on the way back with the dogs. 3 of them were in their little kennels and 1 of them sat next to me. She was super sweet and I had a lot of fun getting to hang out with the dogs in the back seat. So thank you so much, Pilots to the Rescue!
