And we were two years ago, these people were strangers to us. Like, I didn't know them, but we started our online business in September 2019.
2019, yes. I started around September 2019 too, I think. Yeah.
And I started in October 2020. Yeah.
And from then on, we were just, you know, meeting online and stuff like that. But 3 days ago, we actually met and saw each other in person for the first time. And it was so awesome because when we started the business, you know, when you see something online, you don't really know, like, if it's to be trusted, if it's a scam. But we trusted our gut with this one anyway because it had integrity. Like, when we went to the free info session about Yeah, we did our own research.
We were skeptical just like any other person would be, but we did the research and we saw that it was completely legit.
Yeah, so we followed it through and we ended up meeting these amazing people. And of course, real people with real results, right? I guess we started the business because, um, we were in a lot of debt. Yeah, um, we were, I guess, $74,000 in debt. And, um, I wanted to quit my full-time nursing job so that we could— I could take care of our 2 kids. Who are, um, 4 and 2. So that's why we started. I wanted something that's flexible that I can do at home that can replace my nursing income. That was a big thing for me.
And want generational wealth.
Yes, something that we can pass on to them. So that, that was our purpose of starting. What about you guys?
Uh, so I am a nurse too. I work in one of the hospitals here in Calgary, and, uh, for many years I've been working multiple jobs and, uh, Full-time hours, and I'm missing out a lot of family time. So I've been looking for a way to go more camping and have more days off with my family. And I found this job.
And for me, when I started, I actually been trying different things online. And back in 2015, I actually got so stressed at work because I realized that there's so many amazing opportunities online. But then there's It's just too overwhelming. You know, you try to do things one at a time, and then just you just at the end you spend too much. And then just putting pieces together, and then you just fail on your own, doing it on your own. So in here we found that oh my god, there's so many people actually that you get a lot of support, and then we get more, and it's global for real. Yeah, and it's portable, and everything that we spend now is something that is taxed right off.
Yeah, true.
So we get to enjoy it.

Banff, Alberta. And we are in the gondola.
Yeah, looking at the mountains. We just came from, um, what's it called up there?
The Sulphur Mountains.
Yeah, it was beautiful.
But this is all, you know, tax write-off because it's part of the business. We're doing our business here, which is really interesting. Like, it's very flexible, right? It's business on the go.
And so what we wanted to share with you is something that we found And something that has changed our perspective and something that has provided security for us knowing that there's something, an option.
