Chapters

What you do every day as a founder is reflected in the organization. The best of you and the worst of you. Everyone is watching you. Whether you like it or not or think they should be. They are. What founders are doing early on matter a lot. And so just think about yourself, like, are you setting an example that you want your culture to morph to? Because whether you think, believe it or not, that's what's going to happen. And I didn't really believe that. And then I saw it play out and it totally, 100% what happened. So passing, paying that information forward. So some things that I think are really important like that, you know, I think that we did well, that again, weren't obvious. And fewer people talk about like, I think being consistent and fair is just so important. It's just exceptions are so easy. Oh, we're just going to do it this one time for this one person. Every single time we've ever made an exception, it has come back to haunt us or bite us so badly.
