Mike Michalowicz's Profit First method: set aside a chunk of revenue as profit first, hide it, then run the business on what's left. The constraint forces you to cut wasteful spending and make faster decisions.
Profit First is based upon invoking failure. So when you implement Profit First, you take a small portion of that money, or a portion, it doesn't have to be small, and allocate it to, well, first to profit, hide that, and then the remainder, a small portion goes to your operating expenses. Before, having the whole suite of your money, you have a constrained thing and now you gotta become selective. So the path forward becomes much clearer. So when it comes to fighting through failure, sometimes the lack of variability, the lack of input serves you in navigating faster. It's the only path forward. Ah, okay.
