In this brief video, Mike Michalowicz sits alone in his office on the eve of Thanksgiving, surrounded by a modest holiday setting—a jazz soundtrack, a decorated tree he calls the "gratitude" or "success" tree that showcases his team's personal achievements. He reflects on what he is truly thankful for: the entrepreneurs who drive humanity forward. Michalowicz emphasizes that while small businesses are often described as the backbone of the economy, they are in fact the entire economy. He thanks viewers for being entrepreneurs, linking their daily efforts to broader economic and societal progress, and ends with a sincere expression of gratitude.

Sitting at the office here, getting ready to depart for Thanksgiving. The office is empty. I got a little Thanksgiving jazz playing in the background. Quietly. You may not be able to hear it. There's a tree here. I call it the gratitude tree sometimes. Sometimes I call it the success tree. But these are things that our team has achieved in their personal lives that they're proud of. And so, as I'm sitting here prepping for Thanksgiving, just thinking about what I'm thankful for, and it truly, sincerely is you for being an entrepreneur. Like everything that we experience, everything in our lives that's brought about by humankind, is because of an entrepreneur. Because of you. They say small business is the backbone of the economy, but you and I know small business is the entire economy. Thanks for being an entrepreneur.
