Alright, now the fourth thing, the fourth thing out of the five of things that keep small businesses small and which keep lawn care and landscaping businesses from breaking that hundred thousand dollars per month revenue marker number four is pricing. This is super important how you price jobs, because too many times small business owners in the lawn care landscaping business make their estimates just off of the cuff and their pricing models change from day to day. They fluctuate depending on how busy they are. So during the winter or things like that, they don't make as much money on a per hour basis or per job basis. They fluctuate. If we're really busy, then you know what, we're just gonna raise our prices. Or if they're really not looking for work, like no work is there, they all of a sudden their prices go way down. That's not a great way to run a business. And it's certainly not a scalable way to run a business because you want to make sure you have a consistent profit margin throughout. And too oftentimes pricing in our industry, there's no solid or consistent profit margins since, you know, sometimes you make a lot, sometimes you lose money on jobs. And I really believe that if you create a pricing strategy that's standardized, it just eliminates so many problems in our industry. Because what I mean by standardized pricing is you can package all of your services and productize your service. So we talk a lot about that in the course on landscapebusinesscourse.com and how to do that. But when you create this standardized pricing, it's like a menu of items that you choose from. When you create an estimate, there's no more bargaining. It's like going into a restaurant and trying to bargain with the waiter about the cost of the food. It just doesn't happen because everyone realizes that everyone else that comes into the restaurant pays the same amount. So there's no bargaining that's involved. And so if you can create a very systematic way of your pricing method and creating this menu of items, these menu of services, when people try bargaining with you, you know what your profit margins are, you know what your costs are, and you don't have to, you have way more confidence and you won't back up on any of your pricing anymore. And that's what it's all about is confidence in your estimates. And you can literally start to knock out estimates. Minutes, like big jobs, like I'm talking 5 to $10,000 jobs, you can create estimates for those in just a matter of minutes because you've created a menu like pricing method. And that's the best way to create solid, very high profit margins that are consistent regardless of what time of year, regardless of what type of work, and regardless of the economic situation around you. This is Mike Gandhi's landscapebusinesscourse Dot.
