Update on Augusta Lawn Care!

Hey everyone, it's Mike from Landscape Business Course. And today I'm just going to give an update and an announcement regarding the Augusta Lawn Care franchise. If you're not interested in it at all, just wait till the next video. But I know for some of you who have been waiting for this, I wanted to make sure you know that we have scheduled our next time for franchisee training. It's coming up in February and we're getting a special offer and I have some really cool announcements about the franchise. So I'll spend a few minutes here, give that information and hopefully it's of value to you. So first of all, February 14th, yes, I know that's, that is Valentine's Day. So you're gonna have to somehow get around the spouse issue or just bring your spouse along with you. Like we have had for some of the franchisees, it's February 14th, 15th and 16th. Usually training starts at 9 o' clock and it ends by 4 o' clock in the afternoon. We take care of lunch for you those three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. But I want to kind of give you some cool announcements for what's happening with the franchise. So first of all, you know, we've already had the first 10 franchisees come, they got trained in November. And so this is kind of a last minute one that we're putting together. The reason we're doing it in February is that way you're able to get up and running by the spring rush. So this is really the last chance if you want to get the franchise established before the spring rush. Have your website clicking on SEO, really everything really in operation. Your truck's painted, really being able to take advantage of P4P and everything that were developed there. So if you want to get it developed and ready before the spring rush of 2020, this is really your last shot. Obviously you can do it in the middle of the year, but you're not going to get as much bang for your buck. So we are, the first franchisees got a really, really good deal in terms of the upfront fee and things like that. You're also going to get a special deal as being part of the next 10 franchisees. And so the next 10 franchisees are going to basically instead of the $25,000 initial fee, it's just gonna be 15,000. And for everyone that's joining right now in February, there's gonna be no monthly fee until June of 2020. So you basically get like five months of no monthly fees. And my goal when I do that is because I want it to be by the time you get to June that not only have you paid, you know, the revenue and the leads that are coming from Command center and all of that. All of those, I want to be paying, you know, more than the $600 per month that you start paying in June, but also I want you to have recouped that initial amount of money that you have to do for the initial fee. So that's really my goal. And how are you going to recoup that? You're going to recoup that by having Command center having an office staff that's 24. 7 available for you, answering your calls, answering the chat bot from your website that we build for you, answering your estimate request forms, and being able to set up appointments for you on your schedule. And that's gonna eliminate a huge cost for you and overhead of having an office staff member. A lot of the franchisees that have joined and are joining now, they're at that 250 to $400,000 range in revenue. And the reason they've kind of plateaued there is because they don't have an office staff. They can't afford it. It's a lot of overhead. Command center is going to drastically reduce your overhead expense of having a. A team member in the office. And as you scale your business, literally, the savings from Command center just continue to grow. So, for example, Augusta Lawn Care of Whatcom county, our local shop here, we've transitioned all our office staff over to Command center because it saved over 50% on our payroll. And when you have four or five people in the office, that's a huge savings. And so just that alone is gonna save you a lot more than the monthly fees that are set. So it's $600 per month for the first year, and then every month after that is $1,200 per month. And that will never change. And so, you know, I already know the savings are going to be far, far more from that. Just from Command center, let alone, you know, the website that we build for you completely customized to what your services are in your area. We are constantly upgrading and customizing and changing that website to make sure that it's relevant in your area and your zip codes and things like that. For SEO, as well as kind of the big announcements for today is, number one, we're expanding into Canada, so we can now sell franchises in Canada and you can join in the February group. So I know last year we'd say kind of no to Canadians, but in 2020, we can actually sell franchises in Canada. So I know that a few of you are kind of waiting and have been waiting for that to happen. So definitely you can join. Next thing that's really big is we have gone Ahead and launched P4P system.com versus version 2. They haven't launched it in terms of it's not available, but we're developing it. So by the end of April. It's scheduled for 28th April, actually our 28th of March, January, February, March, April. My bad, end of April. So April 28th is when it's scheduled to launch. But we're Starting to develop P4P system.com version 2. Version 2 will basically be a fully integrated payroll system that will allow your guys to punch in and out of the app as well as send daily reports automatically via SMS or email to your crew members as soon as you batch out each day for P4P. As soon as they know, they'll know every single day the day after exactly how much they made on their jobs and have all the numbers in front of them via text or email, as well as no more manual entry for you in terms of reporting. So the max metrics that we get for daily, month, daily, weekly and monthly reports, you will no longer have to do any of that because it's going to be in the background because now we're databasing everything. So it's going to be a fully integrated payroll system like you. You will basically be able to take the numbers out of there and send it to your accountant and it'll all be databased in there. It's no longer just a system that you have to use Excel, no more Excel spreadsheets at all. It'll all be database. So I'm really, really looking forward to that. It's a huge expense. Everything that we make in the franchise this year will be funneled towards making that software better, from the mobile app side to the reporting aspect, the database, and making sure it's all secure. So that's really a huge part. And as a franchisee, that's a completely part of the franchise. There's no extra cost for that. Another announcement for the franchise is that we have just. We're just wrapping up the finalization of a financing agreement that we have with the company that will allow the franchisees to get a line of credit up to $100,000. And for 12 or 18 months, from. For 12 to 18 months, there'll be interest free on that line of credit. So I'm really looking forward to this because I know some of you Might have financing issues. You might need 15, 20 grand to finance that initial fee to get the trucks, all of that sort of thing. And so we're looking, we're just about wrapping up on that. Probably in the next couple weeks we'll be able to have the franchisees join that. And so it's just for franchisees that they have this agreement for this financing company. They only do financing for.

Franchises and it's gonna be up to $100,000 in cash. And as long as your credit score is over about 700, they said as low as 680, but 700 is safe. As long as you're over that in your credit score within four weeks, they'll be able to give you up to $100,000, 12 to 18 months interest free, which I'm really excited about because that means someone can join, you know, get a 30, $40,000 line of credit through them and then get some equipment, get a couple trucks, get rolling and pay that off before they even pay a penny of interest. So I'm really, really excited about that. As soon as officially like you, can you actually assign the dotted line for that, that line of credit offer, I'll be letting you know, but it should be within the next couple of weeks. Everyone that joins in February will definitely, by the time they get here for training, be able to participate in that line of credit option for the franchisees. We make absolutely no money on that. It's a third party. We basically kind of co sign on it as the franchisor to make sure that we kind of are your insurance if something happened to you, but we don't make a single penny on that aspect. I'm just super thrilled because it's going to allow people that might not have the cash, the liquid cash available upfront to be able to join and what we're doing. So that's really everything I had to share today. Some of the updates, the line of credit we're now expanding into Canada, P4P version 2 is going to be absolute game changer. It's going to. Our goal is to make it take less than 30 seconds per day per employee. We're already about 40 seconds with using Excel and the current version of P4P system.com, but the next version is going to blow it away. It's going to be fantastic. We've hired a company out of Kentucky to develop the software for us, develop the reporting aspect, the database inside, as well as the mobile app for your employees to punch in and out of. So no more manual entry at all. It's gonna be really incredible what can do that new software. And so we're investing heavily into that. Every single penny we make on the franchise this year, we pumped into that system. And so I really look forward to talking to you guys.
