Welcome back, everybody. Today I'm going to talk about the workplace and what we've learned in the workplace that you could apply to everything that you're doing now. A lot of what we do is we teach the athletic mindset. We believe if you take that athletic mindset, apply it to what you're doing, it will help you. And we teach athletes the same thing. Well, if you look at the athlete or the workplace professional, they really go hand in hand. Everything just one follows the other. So I'm going to go through 10 truths about mindset and performance in the workplace. If you have any questions, go to the healthymindsetapp.com check out our system there. We have the coaching, we have the, the healthy mindset system that we provide with the assessment and we have accountability. But at the end of the day, we're here to help you. So I'm going to give you the mindset tools to help you apply to everything that you do in the workplace. But the real growth does not happen by listening or reading and continuously doing, listening to podcasts or doing things. It's really what you do and decisions you make and the precise decisions and habits and conversations that you have. One thing at a time. So I hope I'm clear on that. So it's really up to you. You can have all the tools that's going to help you, but you are the one that has to take control to make it happen and don't procrastinate. So I could teach you, number two, I could teach you focus, but you have to manage your attention. I could show you, I can give you all the tools, I can give you all kinds of stuff on focus, but you have to do it. That's where we hold you accountable. The biggest competition today isn't other people. A lot of us compete against ourselves. I was talking to one of our executives. He said, first thing I tell people is don't worry about what person A makes or person B or over here, person C. Don't worry about anything else but worry about Yourself, take advantage of what you could do well and protect it. Number two, number three, excuse me, I could help build your plan, but you could choose the effort. We really believe in a plan we talk about, but any, anyone can plan. But there's only few people that follow through. I've done this for a long time. I used to call them the 1 percenters. And we said, well, let's go to the 5 percenters because we want you to follow through. And that's what's going to really help you within your profession. No matter what it is, whether you're a realtor, whether you're a dentist, plumber, doesn't matter what you do. We work with many different companies and we teach this, but we want to make sure that you apply it. So effort separates good intentions from real results. I could help you prepare for challenges. Oh, you're going to go through ups and downs. You're going to have good days at work, bad days. There's days that you, you know, for some of the working moms and dads out there, we have kid issues. But you must perform under pressure. It's you that hat that has to do it. I've worked with hundreds of dental practices over the years and I would tell them it's like a team. The average dentist has between 10 and 30 people in the office. And I would always say this is your team. And what you bring to your team every day is important and you have to leave everything behind you no matter what has happened. Especially, you know, working with individuals, working with, with, with patients and they're trusting you and they could read your energy. So it's important that, that you present yourself very well because you're going to have difficult clients, you're going to have difficult patients. That's just the nature of anything that you do. But preparation meets reality. Pressure doesn't expose weakness, it reveals habit. So getting a good habit of being consistent. I could teach you the systems. Like we have that 14 day system and we're going to teach it to you. We're going to have you follow through with it, but you control your reaction. We can't do it. For you. Every day brings situations you can't control. Things happen every day. I was talking to one of our companies recently and he says, oh, another day, another problem. And it's true. But it's also the way you respond to things and the way you interact with your team because your team could read your energy. Like I mentioned earlier, that's where you have that power. That's your power Mindset lives in the pause between the problem and the reaction. So we want you to have what I call is that healthy growth mindset. I could help you reset and we could always talk about reset and what happens and there's setbacks, but you decide how you're going to bounce back. That's the real reset. We teach our major league athletes, amateur athletes, weekend warriors, the same thing. You have to control it. Every professional faces setbacks, but the best recover quickly, learn and move forward with clarity. Those are the best to me. The same thing within our, within our athletes as well. We teach almost the same thing. It's pretty close. We just have the workplace assessment, then the ready to play assessment is for the athletes and we use that as a guideline for you. And what we do is I help you like I'm number seven. I can share the strategies with you, but you have to bring the belief. You bring the belief every day. Someone asked me is, hey, how can I, how can I have more confidence in belief? Well, confidence isn't given. It's built through consistency. And then it turns into a routine which then turns into momentum. You may have heard that in sports, and I'm talking about sports. Some like sports, some don't. But what I'm giving you is a clear pathway to, to understand why we believe that the workplace is the same as being an athlete. That's why we call it the workplace athlete. And number eight, I put this down because we always believe in self talk. And I can guide you through self talk. I can tell you what to do, but you choose your words. I don't like working with this person today. Oh no. When I get in the car, I'm already feeling stressed. I know what my boss is going to do. You can choose what you say to yourself because what you say to yourself really matters. Speak like someone who leads. Be that leader, not someone who doubts. Have that belief in yourself. So I could help you find the meaning in your word, in your work. I could talk to you about it, help you, but you must protect it. You have to have that purpose that drives your performance. Again, I'm going to say it again. You have to have the purpose that drives your performance. So when you remember why you do what you do, it changes how you do it. I talk to people all the time and say, boy, I hate what I do. Eventually it's going to wear on you. And I've been working with like even the world class athletes. I can't do this much longer. I know they're not going to last. It's how you do it. I could teach your mindset, but only you can live it. At the end of the day, I guide your growth, but you make it real. Actions beat information. Consistency beats motivation. I'm here to help you. Go to healthymindsetapp.com Any questions? Please feel free to reach out.
