Welcome back to another episode. And I'm going to talk about happiness today. And I have a question. Do you know what a happy person needs? Now, I can't speak for everybody, but I'm a true believer that to have happiness you have to have some sort of mindfulness going on in your life. And you can go back to the previous episodes and have a more understanding or clarity on what mindfulness means. Now, just to give you the quick definition, it means being in the moment, being fully present, and there's other things that go along with that. But when somebody asks me about true happiness, the main thing is, hey, I need a peace of mind. I would also say I need clarity within my personal life and my business life. I want my kids to do well, my girlfriend, my family. I'm taking on the responsibility of everybody. I'm trying to stay on track as much as possible. Security is important. Yeah, I want security within my life that's going to make me happy. But I also believe that all the money in the world does not make somebody happy. Somebody I asked once and I said, well, what will make you happy? Well, I'm completely broke and if I had lots of money coming in, I'll be happy. Well, I know some of the most miserable people I've ever met in my life and they're stressed out, they have lots of money. They're the most stressed out, negative people I've ever met. Now, I've met some people that have a lot of money and they're probably some of the happiest people. But it's not from just having money. But what I want to share with you is this little tip. If you're looking for happiness and you haven't found it, do a self check on yourself and ask yourself, what is going to make me happy? I've done enough podcasts to give you all the tips, like I said, on self help, personal development. But this is a tough one because certain things make people happy. Peace of mind. Like I said, security. And I don't know. I don't know what's going to make you happy within your life. But somebody said this to me years ago. If you're out looking for happiness or no matter what it is and you haven't found it, look harder. Good example is when they came out with the electric cars and I said, guy, this is going to be crazy. You're going to be able to drive a car one day without anybody in it or just somebody in the not really staring, not really taking control of the car. It's going to back into spaces for you. I thought that was absurd, but what I started to do is learn more about it and I started to look deeper into it. Now people are going to say, what does this have anything to do with happiness? It doesn't. But this is just an example. So what I started doing is starting to look for these different electric cars on the road. Electric how? You know, how they fill up the electric cars. Everything I wanted to learn about electric cars. And I started seeing more Teslas on the road. I thought it was amazing. So once you started looking for them, next thing I know, I started seeing a lot of them. The whole point behind this is if you start looking for what you want, you might find it. And this is the tip today I want to. I want to give to you. Start looking for what you want.
