This next segment, we're going to discuss how to be on your game. And people ask me all the time, they say, mike, how can I be on my game? How can I feel good about what I'm doing and what do I need to do and how do I reach my goals? And I hear it all the time. But in order to be on your game, you have to do everything that we talked about previously. I truly believe, I believe the first thing you need to do is assess yourself to see where you are now and where you need to be. We use an assessment. If that's something you want to use, great. If not, you have to assess yourself. Where are you in your life and how am I going to get to achieving my goals? How am I going to get there? It's almost like we need a roadmap. I tell people in coaching and you have to ask yourself when you assess yourself. Now, assessing yourself or taking an assessment is really a baseline. But I like to use this, this theory that in coaching, if you're going north and things are great, you're going full speed ahead, you're doing great. I don't talk to everybody that's always going full speed ahead. Now you're going north, you're going full speed ahead, you're on the right track. Okay, great. Now what happens if you're going south? Well, we're going the wrong way. We're completely backwards. Things are struggling, things are happening. I joke sometimes things happen in threes, you know, and boy, you're having a not a great day. And oh, great. Like I remember I, I had a doctor's appointment. I looked at my car, my tire was flat. Oh, great. So now what am I going to do? So I drive and now I'm going to, I get to the, I was all, it was not completely flat. So I was driving and I go over to the Good Year and they say, well, you know, now you got to get all. With the car I have, you need for it to balance. Right. I don't know much about cars and maybe someone's laughing and said they took you to the cleaners, but I don't think so. You need to get all four tires I said, okay, well, here we. I guess I need all four tires and it's gonna take three hours. I had meetings that day. I said, well, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna walk across the street to the, the Starbucks. People are saying, where are you going with this story? I'll get to it. I go across to the Starbucks. I walk about. Wasn't that close. It was a good walk across the street. Walk over to the shopping center. I'm gonna start and do my work there. Good thing I had my laptop. And guess what? It was closed. It was shut down. So now what am I going to do? So things could happen in threes. They happen to us. I don't. When I say going completely the wrong direction, I mean, some of you understand what I'm talking about. Like, sometimes things just happen. Oh boy, what's going to be next? And it happens to all of us. So in coaching, if you're going south and things are just not getting better for you, you're going the wrong direction. But sometimes we're a little east and west, sometimes we're just sideways with. With what? With what is going on. So in doing that, it's important that you evaluate yourself. It's important that you take the steps and try to move forward. And what can I do to get on track? I listed in all these other. If you go back and listen to, from like I said, number one with the assessments to having a plan, where's my plan? What's my. What is your plan? I ask people all the time, what's the plan? Well, you need an action plan. So you put this plan in place. You do these certain things. You take care of yourself. Your mind, body is so important. You may have heard it before. You can make yourself sick. The amount of stress that you could put internally and what you could do to yourself. And then what are you going to do? What do I say? Pay now or pay later. You take care of yourself. And then we talked about short term goals. You talk about those short term goals. I explain what they are. Go back and listen to the short term goals. It's really important that you have a short term goal. You can't just jump in. You can't just jump in and say, okay, I'm all in. Now what? You have to have a starting point. So then, you know, you go into the long term goals. We talk about the long term goals as well. We talk, like we said, we mentioned, the measurable goals, the vision goal, that dream. How am I going to do it? And you take these steps and you find a way to help yourself. Sometimes we're stuck. You have to get unstuck. And sometimes we need a little bit of accountability, all of us. I mean, I believe a coach needs a coach. I've had a coach for years, help me and sometimes keep me on track and say, you know, Mike, you need to focus on X, Y and Z within your business. But the whole purpose is to really understand, you know, where you are now and where do you want to be? Are you happy? I tell people you never want to be, you know, you never want to be satisfied. Are you happy? Are you satisfied? Well, if you're satisfied, you're already there. But I always like to say, you know what? I'm happy, but I'm not really quite satisfied yet. I'm never there. Until you reach that vision goal, you're always going to want more. If you want to learn more about this, you know, just click on that little icon. Ask us questions. If you're on our website at Hartman Academy, if you're listening to the podcast, go there. Ask us questions on how we can help you and just setting up little, little goals for yourself, taking care of yourself. And I always say this, before you try to start managing all kinds of things, you have to manage yourself. And it takes a lot. It's not just in business. You want to look good, you want to look healthy, you need your sleep. It's all kinds of things. It's almost exhausting. I'm one that likes to minimalize, but I believe in really, really taking care of you because you're important. I mentioned during one of my podcasts, they used to say, well, there's no I in team, but if you don't take care of yourself, you're not going to be on one. So we use this within business. You want to make sure that you're bringing good energy and everything you're doing in to your team. If you have a team or if you're working individually or whatever it is, you want to make sure that you're taking care of yourself. Any questions, go to Hartman Academy.
