Hi everyone, my name is Dr. David Rapps and I'm a podiatrist at We Treat Feet. I'm originally from Edison, New Jersey, and I went to the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. I chose a career in the field of podiatry to help people with a focus on the lower extremity. I have always had an interest in observing the way people walk and in sports medicine. I felt that a career in podiatry podiatry would help me synthesize both of my interests. My area of interest in the field of podiatry is in treating sports and traumatic injuries of the foot and the ankle. I enjoy treating plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, toe and metatarsal dislocations and fractures. I also have extensive training in podiatric wound care. I am board certified in podiatric medicine and I am board eligible in surgery of the foot, rear foot, and ankle. What I love most about being a podiatrist at We Treat Feet is that there's a group of doctors here that can provide different perspectives on various treatment options for whatever comes in through the office doors. There are many ways to treat different podiatric conditions And having a team of podiatrists to work through different options is better for the patients, in my opinion.
