Caroline, welcome to the show. I'm so grateful for you to be here. As I told you before this, heard absolutely wonderful things about you and Beam Minerals from too many colleagues to even count. So it is a pleasure to pick your brain today on the podcast.
It's a pleasure to be here. Thank you for having me.
Yes, I know before you became an expert in minerals, you were deep in the tech world. So I was wondering if you could tell us a little bit about your journey and how you realized that something was fundamentally going wrong and that it wasn't really getting addressed from the conventional approach? Because honestly, so many of our listeners fall into that same category as well.
Yes. You know, like so many of us, I grew up with the idea that my body was a conglomeration of parts, pieces, systems, organs, tissues, et cetera. And I had a lot of health issues growing up. I had mold exposure as a younger person. I'd had an autoimmune I grew up with. I've always been very gluten intolerant. And went gluten-free 20 years ago. And I, I was in a tech career, so a very, very high-intensity career. And at a certain point, as I moved into my 40s, as so many of us women, I stopped being able to— like, there's this thing that happens and you, you can't gain momentum anymore. And even though I was a very hard push, you know, hard go, go, go woman, I couldn't do it. And I had bad inflammation in my gut, even after being gluten-free for maybe 7 years. I had really bad inflammation in my mouth. And that's related to having had 2 children and never being able to get back to a good place after. All that energy leaving my body. I had bone loss in my teeth. I had very bad periodontal disease. I've been to multiple dentists trying to heal that. I had flatlined adrenals. They were flatlined for over a year. I tried many things. I have Hashimoto's and I've sort of struggled with thyroid for many years. Um, not struggled in, in recent years, but at that time I was struggling. And also of course, because I was entering perimenopause, my hormones were completely out of balance. I had headaches, recurring sinus infections every 8 weeks. I mean, really just constant. And I didn't sleep at night. So I started waking up 3, 4, sometimes 5 times a night. So all of these things, which, you know, and then I went to one doctor for hormones and another doctor for thyroid and I went to another doctor for my gut health, and I tried to do detoxes, and I, you know, I went to all these different practitioners, MDs and therapists and energy workers, you name it, I did it trying to heal what was going on with me. And then I was introduced to minerals. And, you know, in all of my journey with my health, no one ever said to me, you know, you might be mineral deficient. They said, you have allergies, you have this, you have inflammation, you have da da da, and they picked it apart and put each piece in its own separate little category. They didn't look at the whole. Yeah. And so I started taking these minerals and over the space of about 8 or 9 months, all of the symptoms that I mentioned, except for thyroid, I do continue to, to use, to take thyroid. Everything resolved. And if it had been one thing, probably wouldn't have paid attention. If it'd been one or two things, I probably— it might have been something that ended up in my supplement graveyard. I took it for a while, felt better, stopped taking it, or never noticed a difference. But so many things changed. And the person who introduced me is my now business partner in my company, Beam Minerals. And I went to him, I was like, what? How could this be minerals? Like, really? Nobody ever said, talk to me about minerals. And he gave me little bits of information to start researching. And I just went way down the rabbit hole researching what minerals are, how do they work in the body? How do they get into the body? How does mineral replenishment work? How do minerals work together? I mean, and on and on. So.
Wow.
It's been quite a journey.
And so incredible that you took that journey and now you're serving, you know, so many other people because of it. And that's, I mean, that was my journey too. It's a way to really make a lasting change in the lives of so many, right?
Exactly. And you see so many people suffering, right? And you know, you recognize the signs. And at a certain point I just went to, you His name is Dan Howard. He's my business partner. And I went to him and I said, Dan, we have to bring this information about minerals to the world. And we have to bring these plant-based minerals to the world because think of how many people are suffering.
Right. I'm curious. Tell me a couple questions. Even health-conscious people I know are often mineral deficient. So why is it that people who eat well, that eat intentionally, that take supplements, that do all the things that we should be doing, why do you think so many of us are walking around persistently mineral deficient? And then second question is like, what are the signs and symptoms of that?
Yes, exactly. Those are two great questions. So the first piece is why are we all mineral deficient? So I'm gonna take you back to 1936. Okay. 1936. Okay. So, so many years ago, 100 years ago, almost 100 years ago. Right. Okay. And in 1936, they had a special session of Congress focused on mineral depletion in the soils. And what were they going to do about mineral depletion in the soils? Because the soils themselves that we're cultivating food in We're becoming extremely mineral deficient. Now, what have we done about that mineral deficiency since that time? Zero, absolutely nothing. And in fact, we've actually made it worse by using things like glyphosate, which kills the microbes in the soil. And the microbes in the soil are what actually create these substances that make minerals available in the soil. So But I wanna give people like a vision of this. Okay? So something they can take away that's not abstract at all. So think about this. When a plant grows in the soil, the way that it creates all of its structure, whether it's a small pea shoot or a huge redwood tree, is minerals. And those minerals come from the soil and those minerals are absorbed through the roots of the plant. And then they are utilized in the plant, both for energy generation and for structure. If you look around the room, that you're in. Think about the chair you're sitting on. All of the structure that you're looking at is minerals. In fact, all of the structure in the entire universe is minerals. Okay. So even all of your entire body, all of the structural elements are made of minerals. So minerals are the substrate of everything. So these plants grow in the soil and they take the minerals from the soil. Now in nature, what happens is the plant grows and ultimately it dies and it decomposes. And as it decomposes, it delivers all of its mineral content back into the soil where it's available again. It's broken down by those microbes and turned into these bioavailable complexes that the roots of new plants can utilize and Okay. But what we do and have been doing for hundreds of, in some cases, thousands of years is we cultivate. So we grow plants in soil and we take the plants away from where they were grown and we prepare them and we eat them and we dispose of their waste far from where they're grown. And the soils, it's like having a bank account where all you do is take money out and you never put money in. So our bank account is very, very depleted. So they say that to get the same nutrition from an apple that your grandfather ate, some people say 5, 6, 7 apples you'd have to drink. I mean, eat an orange. You'd have to eat a couple of oranges, maybe 3 oranges to get the same nutrition that you could from an orange or an apple in 1950s. So, wow, we are on a trajectory where our food, where we have lots of calories, but not very much fuel in that, like nutritional fuel. And then to exacerbate the problem, most of us drink filtered water. Now, the best thing would be to take— use spring water or filtered water that has minerals added back into it. But even getting minerals back into your water in a way that's bioavailable is also a whole thing that we can talk about. But the point is that this mineral depletion has increased in the last 10 years dramatically because people are all drinking this filtered water. In Europe, we, they, you can't hardly buy distilled water. You get spring water, right?
I was going to tell you that. And they do put minerals back in. Like I lived in Italy 20 years ago and my family there is like very particular about the mineral content. In the water that they buy. And meanwhile, we're two decades behind not even having this conversation on a, you know, nationwide scale and adding it back into our water. That's so fascinating.
Yeah. I talked to lots of people who, they lived in the country and let's say they used well water and then they moved to the city and they get their reverse osmosis filter under the sink. And then few months later they're like, I feel bad. Like, what is going on? My energy's tanking, you know, whatever. And I'm like, yeah, you lost all that mineral content that you were getting on a regular basis daily. So this is why we have a problem. So it's been a long time coming and it's happening over a long, you know, it's been happening over a long period of time. And even children now, the rise in sports injuries in young children, all of that kind of thing, cramping when they're doing sports, all of that kind of thing, even ADHD, these kinds of things are absolutely signs of mineral depletion. And can be supported incredibly by mineral replenishment.
Wow, I didn't even think about the sports injury piece, but that is so valuable and fascinating. What are some everyday other symptoms people might experience? I assume fatigue, right?
Uh, so the first thing is fatigue, I'd say. The second thing is brain fog. So, and let me explain this, cuz I think it really helps people understand why they might have— why brain fog might be associated with mineral depletion, because it's not an immediate connection that most people would make. Right. So, and this is the thing where I love is that everyone's talking about macros, about you have to get the right amount of macros, you know, protein, fats, and it's that you have to deal with the macros, but nobody's talking about micronutrients. But I'm telling you, micronutrients drive all the energy production in your body. Without micronutrients, and macrominerals, which are still very tiny compared to a macro like protein, you can't generate energy. And that energy is generated mostly inside the cells. And it's via something called the mitochondria. Of course, you know all about the mitochondria. It's this, it's like an energy generating unit that lives inside your cells and it utilizes minerals and amino acids in your body. To generate small units of energy called ATP. Now, the thing about it is in your body, your entire body is made of cells. Every single aspect of it, every part of your body is made of cells. Okay? And inside those cells are these mitochondria. Now you've got maybe 37 to 150 trillion cells if you're a really big guy. In your body. Now, it's not like you have one mitochondria to one cell. On the back of your hand, you might have 200 mitochondria in a single cell. In your heart, maybe 5,000 to 8,000 mitochondria in a single cell. And in your brain, in a single neuron, you could have upwards of 2 million mitochondria in a single neuron. Wow. So when you think about the fuel, and the way I like to imagine this is like, if you're gonna, if you're gonna start a campfire, you're gonna need some wood, you're probably gonna need some paper or tinder, and then you're gonna need a match. And the mitochondria is like the match, the, the thing that allows or has the capacity to light the fuel and turn it into energy. But the fuel itself is like wood is— the fuel itself is the minerals, which is like the wood and the amino acids, which is like the tinder. Your body makes a lot of amino acids. It makes no minerals. All have to come from the outside. So if you don't have enough fuel, your mitochondria can work all day, but they have nothing to light. When your body is fully mineral replenished, it can generate about 1,200 watts of electricity each day. But when it's mineral depleted, maybe it's only generating 700 watts, maybe 500, maybe less in some cases with people, especially the elderly who often don't eat very well at all. And you end up with the body saying, I can't do everything. I'm gonna do what I absolutely have to do. I'm gonna keep the heart pumping. I keep the lungs moving. I'm gonna keep the blood moving around. I'm gonna do the basics. And you enter into this decline. Wow.
Fascinating. And it makes me like even think about myself and like my patients, cuz I'm guilty of this too. And I serve women who are fatigued, right? They have brain fog. They're just not functioning at the optimal level that they need to. And I talk so much about, look, all of these energy cogwheels that are responsible for production, and we move through all of those at Modern Thyroid Clinic, but one that we don't is minerals. So this is such a good conversation for me to even have and learn. So I so appreciate it.
Yes.
Um, yeah. And so interesting too about the mitochondria and a huge point. We have all of these resources inherently in our body. But we can't even, you know, if we don't eat enough food, we can create that sugar, things to burn for energy, but we can't create minerals. Fascinating. Tell me about the people who maybe are taking a lot of supplements, electrolytes, these things that are kind of honestly making a wave in the marketplace.
Yes.
They still feel kind of depleted, or maybe they're taking a ton and they don't notice it taking effect. What could be happening there?
Yeah. So there's a lot to understand about minerals, and this is why I am on such a mission to talk about it, cuz there's just a lot of misunderstanding. So in the same way that minerals are the, the substrate of the entire universe, they are ecosystem tools. And we think about if we have a headache, we're gonna take something for it. Okay. If we have a low thyroid, we might take levothyroxine or something. Okay. So the problem with minerals is that you need about 18 to 22 minerals, depending on who you speak to. Okay. Your body has to have them, maybe not can survive without them. Like literally your body has to have all these minerals. So, but the minerals work together, okay? And they work together in specific balance and ratios that are extremely important. So the idea that you could just look and go, oh, I'm low in magnesium, I need to take a lot of magnesium, is actually a misunderstanding. And this comes from these, this conceptual framework of Recommended Daily Allowances, Minimum Daily Requirements, these things that were developed in a lab. So these were developed many years ago when soldiers and athletes were struggling in their training and they were like, oh, we— and the scientists went, okay, well, we need to just figure out what they need and give it to them. Okay. But this was for emergency situations only. Someone was crashing, you give them a stick pack, I mean, electrolyte pack. Okay. Because they're crashing. It's not meant for daily use because when you take maybe tour sodium, magnesium, potassium, and you put it into your system in large amounts measured in milligrams, 500 milligrams, sometimes 1,000 milligrams. I mean, huge numbers in terms of minerals. And you put them in your gut. Now, what do we know? About the gut microbiome today. What we know is that it's, it's more like a forest than a car. Okay. There's no tank for magnesium you can fill up or potassium. It actually works a lot like a forest. It's this incredibly complex— when it's thriving, everything's lush and working together. There's enough water and air and nutrients that are coming from those plants, decomposing in these balanced ways. Now go take a wheelbarrow of your salt-based electrolyte stick pack and throw it on the floor of that forest. And that forest doesn't thrive. First of all, because it's a freshwater system, it's not a saltwater system. Your blood is a saltwater system. It's like the ocean, but your digestive tract is like the rivers and streams on the earth. It's a freshwater system and your gut microbiome is, is like a forest. So it's simply a misunderstanding and came out of, you know, sports, uh, high performance sports. So interestingly enough, I've had trainers of elite triathletes come to me, uh, Olympic running coach, and some of their athletes are struggling with osteopenia. And osteoporosis, and particularly with the triathletes, osteoporosis with the aging athletes. And they came to me and we were, we sat down and we really unpacked the problem. And here's the thing, when you take a large amount of, let's say magnesium and put it in your gut every single day, your body says, this is a concentration of magnesium. I have to balance that. And I have to balance it with calcium and phosphorus. Those are the balancing minerals for magnesium. Okay. Calcium and phosphorus. And where does it get that? From your bones and your teeth. And I'm not talking it's gonna happen today if you do it one time, but if you do it continually over a period of years or year or years, it is not going to be a positive thing for your ecosystem. And that's part of what I'm trying to help people understand is your body is a natural ecosystem. It is not a vehicle with tanks for potassium and magnesium and calcium. And so that's kind of the first reframe. Second is most of the supplements that people take in the mineral category are made from rocks, shells, bones. And salts. Now the salts are fairly bioavailable, but they have the issue that I'm talking about with the gut microbiome and, and that, okay? And the imbalance they create. But the rock shells and bones, they have very low bioavailability because what happens if you get a piece of bone or shell or rock in your mouth? You spit it out because you know your gut doesn't break that down. Right now we're like, oh, but it's powdered. You know, it's already broken down to these small Like you have no idea component size that it actually has to be broken down to, to be absorbed through your gut. It's chemical. It's ionic chemical component size.
And can you con— contrast that with plant-based minerals?
Yes. Yeah. And it's so cool because plant-based minerals are completely different thing. They are. So if we think about your body or my body, we're all made of cells. And at a cellular level, at that mitochondrial level, our cells work the same way the cells in that redwood tree work. All cellular life works the same. And do you know that you need— the mitochondria in the tree needs the same ratio of minerals that the cells in your body need. So guess what? Nature solved the problem. Because all cells on Earth, all cellular life on Earth requires minerals to generate energy to function.
Hmm.
So of course nature would solve the issue since those minerals have to come from the outside of the cell and get in. And that's what plant-based minerals represent. They represent Mother Nature's technology for mineral replenishment.
Wow. And talk with me about some of those types. I've heard of fulvic, I've heard of humic. I'd love for you to explain those, unpack it, because even for me it's somewhat of a foreign concept.
Yeah, it is. I know. I always try to simplify it because as soon as people hear a word fulvic and humic, they're like, ah, I don't know, whatever. But actually they're so cool. Okay. And let's start with Fulvic. So fulvic is an incredibly tiny, tiny molecule. It's— if your fist is a cell in your body, the fulvic molecule would be the size of the head of a pin.
Wow.
Okay. So very, very small. And the beautiful thing is that your body recognizes fulvic because your cells evolved on the earth alongside all the other cells. And this is a technology that was developed. So If you've never put fulvic in your body intentionally, you put it in there today and your body immediately recognizes it. And the cells in your body go, oh, it's fulvic. Great. Let's let it in. So all those gates in the cell lining recognize fulvic and let the fulvic in. And the fulvic has an incredible ability that no other molecule on earth has. It's a delivery system for minerals and nutrients into the cell. So imagine if you have a magnet and you've got a whole bunch of metal pieces connected to the magnet and you could turn the magnet off. What happens? All those things fall off. And that's what happens with the fulvic molecule. So it, it's a very strong electrolyte molecule and all these nutrients and minerals are, they connect to it because of its magnetic personality. And then it carries those things through the cell wall. And when it gets inside the cell, it changes its polarity, which is like turning the magnet off. And those things drop off and are delivered to the mitochondria in the cell.
Wow.
Then it's in a negative or positive. It could be negative or positive. It's in a different polarity. It travels around the cell. And it picks up biowaste, toxins, heavy metals, glyphosate, nanoplastics, viral detritus, free radicals. Those things cling to it. Now the, the channel opens in the cell wall, the fulvic carries those out into the bloodstream and changes its polarity again, and it drops those things off in the bloodstream. Wow. So it's an incredible enhancer of intercellular transport. This is like taking a cellular system and giving it exactly what it needs, an ability to enhance uptake of nutrients and an ability to do intercellular detoxification. Wow. So that's Fulvic, which Fulvic is truly— so if you want to get rid of your brain fog, you want to get more energy into those 2 million mitochondria that are in one single cell. The beautiful thing about fulvic, crosses the blood-brain barrier, goes everywhere in your body. It's such a small molecule, you can spray it on the outside of your body and it will absorb directly through the skin into the local area.
Wow.
So for, let's say menstrual cramps or tension headaches, or even we use it, we spray it in our eyes because your eyes have a huge number of mitochondria inside their eyes are doing so much processing constantly. So then let's talk about the humic. So it's fulvic and humic. The humic is a different kind of molecule. It's also a very strong electrolyte molecule, but they call it a polyelectrolyte molecule, which means its surface area could be positively charged in one area and negatively charged in another area. So now if your cell was the head of a pin, the humic molecule would be the size of your fist. Okay? So it's a very large molecule relative to the cell. It hangs out in your gut, it hangs out in your bloodstream, and it just travels around binding and picking up bio waste, toxins, heavy metals, glyphosate, nanoplastics, spike proteins, graphene oxide. I mean, you name it. It picks up all that detritus that your body needs to get rid of. At a certain point, this molecule gets very heavy at a molecular weight and it falls out of the suspension the way something would like fall to the bottom of your glass. If you mixed a powder into your water and then you let it sit for a while, it precipitates out. And that's what happens with the humic molecule. It leaves your body through every elimination channel, including your tears, your snot, your sweat, your saliva, earwax, your just sloughing off cells when you rub your skin somewhere, bottoms of your feet, of course your urine and feces. But what's great, it doesn't require like many detox tools that are more short-lived. This is a continuous, gentle, slow detoxification of your entire system. Continually.
That's incredible. Tell me a little bit about Beam Minerals. I see a few bottles behind you. I haven't tried these yet. I'm, I'm definitely after this going to be ordering some for sure.
Oh, we're gonna get those to you right away.
I love it. Tell me a little bit about y'all's products. I'm from Texas, so I say y'all. I'd love to learn more about the unique individual kind of ones and where to best start, all of it.
Sure, sure. So this little set right here is called, we call this our advanced set and it's got two products. One is called Electrolize, trying to move it, and MicroBoost. So Electrolize is the fulvic product. Okay. It's the one that's going to enhance energy generation in the body. It's also beautiful because it works for everybody. You ubiquitously. I've never had a single person that it did not work for. Wow. And people notice a difference. You just take one half capful a day. If you were an athlete, I'd give you a different, uh, way to use this. Um, but you would use this instead of salt-based electrolytes. So on a daily basis, but you know, basic thing, you're gonna take half capful. That's all you need. But if you're going to the gym, you might take a splash and put it in your water. This is great for remineralizing your, uh, reverse osmosis water. You don't wanna drink empty water. It actually goes straight through you. It doesn't have a way to absorb cuz water's a carrier molecule. So you need to get the minerals back into it. And this is a great way to do that because of its strong electrolyte capacity. It will immediately bind with the water. You'll never have to shake this bottle because it's completely ionized.
And does it have any flavor in it or is it flavorless?
It tastes exactly like water. So every day, amazing. This doesn't have very much. I'm drinking from a glass that's Got my minerals in it. I just usually fill up my glass. I put my Electrolyze and Micro Boost in the water. I drink it. Tastes like water. You have no flavor.
I love that. 'Cause I hate the sweet stuff, all the additives. I'm just, it's so hard for me to deal with.
And yes, exactly. And, and the problem with things when they often with the electrolyte, the salt-based electrolytes, they're adding flavors. They're adding flavors for a couple reasons. One, to cover the bad taste. But also because sugar makes magnesium more bioavailable. So they actually add sugar to, because magnesium actually in that form is not that bioavailable. So they, the sugar, it binds to the sugar and then on and on. So we don't have to go into that. But the problem with that is as soon as you add a flavoring, now you have to go through digestion. Beautiful thing about this, it requires zero digestion. Remember how small the molecule is. When I drink it, it starts absorbing through the lining of my mouth, my throat, my esophagus. By the time it hits my stomach, my body has already absorbed some of the mineral content and is utilizing it. So especially if somebody has a lot of gut inflammation or they have SIBO or they have IBS or they have Crohn's or they have, you know, real challenges with, or they've had gastroplasty or something like that. So they struggle with absorption, they don't have to— this is not reliant on a healthy gut for absorption. And it's also not reliant on healthy enzymes, digestive enzymes for breaking things down. It absorbs ubiquitously. Yeah. So how cool is that? Right? So cool. So then we have humic and this is MicroBoost. And so people are confused if they read the label, there is fulvic in here, primarily a humic product. It's a, dark brown, um, liquid, but it tastes like water. People always like, they, they're like, oh, I don't know. I don't know. And then they drink it and they're like, whoa, tastes like water. And they're always surprised. So this is the humid product. The reason we have them separated is that for people who have autoimmune, I am one of these people. I have autoimmune. I have mold. I've had mold exposure. I've had you know, lots of toxic load in my body because I don't detox. My genetics, I just, I, I have those genetics that make it hard for my body to detox. And so I can't really drink this straight. Okay. That's why I put it in my water. I have to drink it slowly over time. And on the back of the bottle, we have a little QR code you can scan that takes you in. If you're a sensitive person, you just follow the slow introduction method. It's, you're just gonna slowly introduce it. Whereas there are some other products, plant-based humic and fulvic products on the market that have the humic and fulvic mixed. Like let's say you use shilajit. So shilajit is from the Himalayas. It's a humic tar-like substance. And for some people who are sensitive like me, if I take it, I'll probably get a rash or pimples, or I might get hives or something, or some other detox symptoms. Not a bad thing. It's just uncomfortable. Yeah. Yeah.
And I like the idea always of slow detox over time because the worst thing you can do is over-detox and then just have it circulate in your system and, you know, reabsorb. Random question, like, have you ever thought about taking some of these if people have a garden at home and remineralizing their soil?
We absolutely have. And we've, we've thought about starting a gardening prod— product, a backyard gardening product for a long time, and we just literally haven't gotten around to it. There's so many people who need the minerals though. Yeah, that's true. We use it, uh, you should see our houseplants. I'm telling you. Oh, we have the most amazing houseplants. Wow. Yeah.
That's incredible. So that's a little trick. And I have an at-home garden that always needs, you know, like if we're missing all those minerals anyway, Why not mix it with some of our water and pour it in?
If you want me to send you some, some of our kind of things that came off the line and maybe there was a little leak on it or something, we can send it to you so you can use it in your garden.
I would love that.
That's so fun.
So cool. So couple more questions. You know, one is, what's one of the first things people notice when they start remineralizing their system?
So everyone is different. And what I, what I tell people is this, if you think about your system and it's not able to generate that 1,200 watts of energy that it needs, so it's only generating 800, 700, something like that. And what happens? It hits the weakest places in your system. Now, because mine went on for so long, I had a lot of chronic symptoms. And this is why I say, you know, you know this as a practitioner, practitioners constantly tell me that their patients don't come to them with 1 or 2 chronic symptoms. Now they come with 5 or 6.
Yeah.
So I say, look at your chronic symptoms. You don't sleep, let's say, or you tend to get stomach upset, you know, like, um, indigestion, or let's say you tend to have hair loss or your skin is just not healthy. You can just see it doesn't feel and doesn't look healthy. Or, you know, you tend to get sick very easily. You know, you just, I mean, I'm knocking on wood, of course, but I mean, literally all around me, people, they're just getting sick so often and I, I don't get sick, you know? So, and I, I believe it's literally because my immune system has enough fuel, even allergies, you know, they say allergies is because your, your body has so much more to do than it can do. So if you increase the, the energy output of the entire body, it goes, wow, I can take care of that. I can get rid of that inflammation. Oh, I can fix it. Oh, I can do this. It can do what it naturally does as a natural ecosystem. You know, what do they do in nature when an ecosystem is all messed up? They say, just stay out of it, get out of the way. You know, let's just give it what it needs and just stay out of the way because the ecosystems know what to do. Okay. So the things that we always hear are energy increase. Okay. Especially with, with the electrolyze, the Fulvic product. So energy increase, brain fog going away and over time. So, and I also want people to understand these aren't like, you know, if you take magnesium today, like right before you go to bed, it will help you sleep, get to sleep. Okay. It's not a good thing for you over time. I don't recommend it. If you absolutely need a sleeping pill, then use it once, but don't use it over time, especially for women, because bone health is so important, especially as we enter into perimenopause and menopause. So you want to take minerals in natural ratios, and that's what Humic and Fulvic have, all the minerals in the natural ratios you need. When you start to— actually, I wanna say one thing that's really important. So this world is very, very stressful. We know that. And most of us look at stress as coming from the outside. And I want people to consider that stress might be coming from the inside. Literally, your cells are saying, I don't have what I need. Go looking. I don't have what you need. You find yourself opening the fridge an hour after dinner looking for something. Like, ah, just, I just need something. And that continual thing is literally amping up the whole nervous system. So now what do we have? We have anxiety, we have panic, we have chronic depression, we have all these, these symptoms. So what if you started providing that full spectrum of minerals to your body regularly? Now the cells in your body are saying, Everything's good here. Got what I need. Everything's good here. Got what I need. Over time, over weeks and months, the whole nervous system starts to just calm. Yeah. Thoughts, you know, the brain calms. You can get focused. You can get your thoughts together. You can make decisions and you start sleeping through the night. It's all about an ecosystem coming into resonance, coming into balance.
It really is. Well, this was one of my favorite interviews I've done. This was incredibly insightful, inspiring it for me personally, but also as a clinician. So thank you for your work, for creating a product that solves these problems that obviously are basically ubiquitous. Um, tell listeners where they can find out more about Beam Minerals, about you. All the things.
Yeah. Well, the first thing I'd like to mention is I am very excited to announce that I have a book coming out and it's called The Mineral Reset. It's being published by Hay House in the spring. So if people want to learn more about that and learn more about minerals and just start getting pieces of the book, they can go to mineralresetbook.com and you could preorder and join the group of people that I'll be kind of doing all sorts of different processes as we lead up to the launch, the live launch of the book in April. So that's first thing. You could also follow me, CarolineAllen.official on Instagram, and then Beam Minerals. You could go to beamminerals.com. And McCall, we would love to provide you a code if you would like to give people a discount. We'd have, we'd be happy to do that. And we can put that in the show notes for you. Wonderful. Yeah. So usually that's a 20% discount. And for people out there, I always recommend just start. It's so simple. You just start with the Advanced Set. These two products are your foundation for the micronutrients in your body. So start fueling those macros that you're taking by filling in with the micronutrients so you can activate the macros in your body.
I absolutely love it. Well, thank you. Thank you so much for this conversation, for your work. I'm so excited about your book launch. Congratulations on that.
Thank you. Thank you.
And yeah, I'll see you next time.
Awesome.
