When we help a person with their thyroid we also want to make sure that we're addressing their adrenals. There can be a lot of protocols for this. Some old school physicians may use up like straight up hydrocortisone to get those cortisol levels up. You can use pregnenolone and DHEA to get those levels up. You can use adaptogens, high dose of B vitamins, vitamins C, magnesium and then some really solid like lifestyle changes and circadian rhythm changes. One big thing for me that I recommend for most people is make sure that you get enough sleep because the fastest way to get like into that adrenal dysfunction state is by sleep deprivation and so the fastest way to get out of it is to get plenty of sleep. And then I love to utilize adaptogens and bright light exposure throughout the day. That can be, that can be a really big game changer and even things like spending time in nature and pleasurable activities can be a part of the healing protocol for that.
