Because so many of these different factors are important in your journey to conceive, it's really important to start paying attention to them, you know, as soon as you can. I mean, if you're trying now, we'll start paying attention now. But in the perfect world, if we could empower a younger generation of women to learn about this, to learn about their hormones, to really think about their lifestyle and thinking about their fertility at an earlier time— McCall, I've seen so many patients who will come see me after a year of trying, and then when I talk to them, they've had 3 periods, or they have this raging— their thyroid is way out of whack and things have just— you can watch it over years just getting worse, but nobody's intervening yet. And I know you have these stories too. And it's really hard to see. It's not any patient's fault. It is the current state of medicine. And what I say is that you, as a woman, especially as a woman who wants to get pregnant, this is your journey and nobody else's. And you've got to feel comfortable advocating for yourself. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. And if your doctor's gaslighting you, not listening, go find a new one. Amen. Don't try and change your doctor's practice of medicine, and you should never have to convince someone to believe you.
