A short YouTube segment by McCall McPherson addressing stigma around GLP medications for people with Hashimoto's. McPherson advises not to worry about others' judgment, to talk with people taking GLP meds—especially those on microdosing protocols—to learn about benefits and side effects, and frames treatment choice as a medical risk-versus-benefit decision, stating these medications can provide many benefits with relatively few side effects when used appropriately.

You've opened my eyes to GLPs for hashis. How do I let go of the negative views out there? I would say I don't know if you mean of other people looking down at you or judging you for being on these medications. If so, who cares? Who cares? Like, I guess when you turn like 40, you quit caring about other people's opinion. But. Or most of us do. I would say have conversations with people who are on these meds, not about weight loss. Have conversations about all the other benefits they're experiencing and ask them about their side effects. And I encourage you to do that with people who are on a micro dosing protocol because their experience is vastly different than people who are on a standard dose protocol. But that's my biggest advice. I. In medicine, everything is viewed as risk versus benefit in terms of analyzing the value of medications and treatments versus safety. Right. I have never seen a medication with so many benefits, full stop. I've also never seen a medication with so few side effects when it's appropriately used. And so you combine those two together and we have a pretty miraculous situation that's happening right now.
