Short interview between McCall McPherson and another speaker exploring transparency and remediation in wellness manufacturing. The guest emphasizes testing/retesting and purification to remove contaminants (e.g., mercury in oils/greens), cites substantial patent and trademark activity to protect processes, and frames product purity as motivated by protecting children and elderly family members even at the cost of lower margins.

How are they really making the products you put inside your children?
Well, I know that one of your passions is transparency and wellness manufacturing. I want you to tell me why that is so important to you and why other people need to know. It's important in general.
And here's why I think it's important. People talk clean manufacturing, I talk remediation. And what I mean by that is it's not enough for me to work in manufacturing and clean the vitamin C and clean the grains. You have to test and retest and then you need to make sure that it is the purest form and goes through different processes. So I have 18 patents filed, we have 78 more to file. And then we have 3,000, over 3,000 trademarks on processes. How are they really making the products you put inside your children? How are they making? So what if you're taking a greens product or an oil that has mercury in it? If.
There'S.
If there's mercury at a high level, right, you're trying to get the Omega 3 because maybe you shouldn't eat fish all day because of the microplastics and the mercury, but who's cleaning it? And so I just decided I want this to be something that my children can take every day, or my best friends, or my parents who are 83 and 84. It means for me, for us it's meant our margins are really a lot lower than most manufacturers. But I wanted it to be as pure as possible. And so my goal is to keep getting better.
