Hi guys. It's already day three of the Investing Challenge, so we're on the seven days investing challenge for medics and the energy has been off the charts. Special shout out to Kat Bennett and Chi and everyone else who has been keeping the community very engaged. Yesterday was day two and we dealt with risk management. So we looked at different asset classes.
Stocks, bonds, index funds and even other.
Asset classes, alternative asset classes like startups, which I've been investing in, as well.
As things like real estate and the rest of it. Looking at what is the risk associated with each one.
We looked at things like bonds and guilt and all of that and obviously the risk is dependent on whoever is the issuer.
So we're looking forward to day three.
So day three we are going to be delving into active versus passive investing. Which one is for you?
What is your risk appetite?
I mean, going back to yesterday's class.
Your risk appetite versus your risk tolerance versus your risk capacity. So today we're going to be looking at active versus passive investing and of course part of the exercise will be figuring out which one works best for you. And of course I'm going to be sharing a shocking statistics which I see some of you who've been following my emails might know. 99 of the active fund managers fail to outperform the S&P 500, which is sort of like the market average. So today we're going to be delving into it. Look out for my email by 6pm and of course by 7:30pm, we'll be meeting in the community to discuss, do a live Q and A and also answer any questions. If you haven't joined Investment Challenge and if you want to join and you want to catch up with the ones you've missed, check the link in the description or check the link in the comments and I'll give you the link to join. All right then, Bye bye.
