A short YouTube video by Ndubuisi 'Andy' Egwim (uploaded June 21, 2025) in which the speaker recounts a personal journey from studying medicine to becoming a breakfast cereal maker. In this excerpt the speaker explains that a chemistry teacher's disbelief motivated him to pursue medicine—an act partly driven by a desire to prove others wrong—which frames his broader career-transition narrative.

Like, what the hell are you doing from doctor to breakfast cereal maker? And essentially, I did medicine because somebody told me I couldn't. So I went to my chemistry teacher, I said to him, I'm going to do medicine. And he kind of fell about laughing and said, that's never going to happen. You're never going to be a doctor. I think retrospectively there was a little bit of belligerent, but actually, it's only now, again with that reflection, that it all makes sense for me now.
