Things like having a good credit score. It can affect your ability to if you want to get a mortgage, being able to borrow money for people who use credit cards, being able to get a credit card. It could even affect you being able to rent a house. Because sometimes I am a landlord, I own properties. Sometimes people want to see your credit before they rent out your house because they think it might tell them whether you are good or responsible with money.
