YouTube video (transcript) of Ndubuisi “Andy” Egwim arguing that over long horizons (20–30 years) the stock market outperforms real estate. He discusses portfolio allocation (small stakes in startups and crypto), clarifies that ISAs are tax wrappers not asset types, and emphasizes using stock-and-shares ISAs to avoid capital gains tax. Tone is advisory and opinionated.

There's no way. There's no comparison. When you zoom out 20 years, 30 years. Stock market beats real estate all the time. I invest in startups, but I don't put 100% of my investable assets in startups. I might have like 5% of my holding in something like crypto, but it's not from the bulk of my investment. Someone said, oh, I invest in stock and shares. I'm like, no, there's no stock and shares ISA investment, it's just a tax protector. So you put your money through that stock and shares ISA and then invest what you invest, whether it's an index fund or whether you buy individual stocks or whatever, or bonds using stock and shares isa, you can actually invest capital gains tax free. That means you never, as long as we know you never have to pay a tax. I can't tell you the number of times people called me and said, it's my 40th bed in a few days. I've been hearing about lifetime. I said, what do I do? What do I do? And usually when the taxi is around the corner, don't be that person.
